Lake View Ranch advertises as offering horse back riding camps, lessons, party packages, weddings and carriages, and trail riding packages. My child did a summer camp in summer of 2021. The camp was "boring" according to my child. I asked the owner Jessica for their tax id number after the camp and she told me she would have to ask her accountant about that. I've followed up multiple times since then and she doesn't respond. I called again the last week and she told me to send her a text with what I needed (going on 8 months now) and I did but she never responded. I emailed her and she never responded. I will never send my child or recommend this company to anyone.

Don't let my "location" fool you, I actually live in Newcastle and am a neighbor of Lake View Ranch. The place is horrendous! Animal cruelty beyond comprehension. During the winter storms with days end of rain and hurricane like winds, none of the horses towards the front of the property have any shelter. I drive by almost every day and they have no protection from the elements and stand all day long in mud and their own excrement, which gives them foot rot! Even wild horses have trees to stand under for protection and a dry place for them to lay down and rest. In the summer when it's over 100 degrees, again, the horses have no shelter from the beating down sun and also limited water access. Lastly, when they are fed, it's a pile of dry hay thrown on top of the dirt and/or mud. It's disgusting and my neighbors and I have called animal services to take this place down multiple times. There are additional horses on other areas of the property which have shelter, but not these poor souls. This place is ran by a commune! DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR MONEY! They will probably take this post down, but I'll just keep putting it back up until those horses are shown some proper care!!!!!

This place is awful.Horses are abused and not fed well. She starved my 3rd level dressage warmblood horse l have pictures of before she went there and after she starved and abused her.She has lied about this and l have proof from my vet,the horse haulers that removed her from there and many other friends who know my mare. This horrible place needs to be shut down and horses to be removed from her lack of care.l am now in the legal process with my attorney of doing this. I have proof of this. Contact me for more Information. Let's get this abuse stopped.Read the other reviews on this ranch. The only horses that look ok,are the ones she rides, and other clients that board there,as they take care of their own horses. The small pipe corrals these poor horses are kept in is unacceptable.Go take a look for yourself and leave your own review .There is no pastures for 20 horses on her 5.4 acres. And it is illegal in the state of California to keep more than 1 horse per acre. She must be held accountable for her abuse.

The area isn't very clean. They use students to clean the stable instead of teaching them riding skills
