I have been wanting to camp here for a long time and finally was able to this past weekend. I must say the customer service was excellent and everyone there was so accommodating. We reserved a group spot which was made up of 3 individual spots and our trailers did not fit. The host allowed us to pick other spots without hesitation. The lake was beautiful, the store was excellent. Bar, full food service, boats, jet skis to rent. Lake front cabanas are nice but small so most trailers won't fit. The deer are actually use to humans so they come to you for food. I only gave 4 starts because the map on line is not accurate which played apart on not fitting. Otherwise I had a blast.

This place are beautiful and peaceful so quiet . 1st time experience is it so amazing the water is clear you can see yourself in haha. My friend he's took me here, bcuz he's own the lake house. No words for more hehe.

This was my first time here and I have to say I was very disappointed. I selected a camp site that apparently was in the middle of the desert. No trees! Beware of the pics on line they are misleading. The store doesn't open until 10 am during the week. I needed ice, so I waited until ten. To my surprise, the store was still closed and had a sign that said they would open later in the afternoon. I was not a happy camper since the closest store was an hour away. There is a lot of deer, and they have no fear and can open your containers to get to your food. We were told to lower radios and be quiet, but on the weekend, it was so loud from the lake front homes having parties that I didn't see the point. Lastly I can't forget to mention the roaches. Big ass roaches. Never in my life have I encountered this while camping. Needless to say, I will never return to this place!!!

If you plan on night fishing here.. this place is great. Our fishing club has a night tournament here every year because the night fishing during the summer is great. The staff however is very very dirty (the scammed us). We pull in around 6:30 PM and told the girl at the front gate we are going to night fish. The girl said that it would be $20 for the overnight spot. It's the next morning and we are leaving and the man at the front desk asks for $25. We said the girl last night told us all we had to do was pay $20. Turns out that pass was only good until 10PM last night... The man then tells us that we could have payed $25 for the full overnight spot last night. He then tells us we can't just give him $5 for the overnight ticket so we had to give him another $25... So in total we spent $45 to fish overnight... They scammed us bad and what sucks is we love this lake in the summer... will we be back? Very debatable now..

This brings me no joy, never in my life did I think I was going to have write this review. Let me start by saying, my family has been coming here for 8+ years, we spend good money every year. This place has been traditional. The experience we had this year was absolutely ridiculous, the new owners have no decency for hospitality. They were nothing but rude, treated us like children, us the PAYING CUSTOMERS. Treated us like we were new, provided NO fire wood, NO trash bags. When we came before, the old owners always had wood at every camp site, trash bags ready. The new workers did not provide anything and did everything so late. It was 10:00am in the morning and the stores were barely opening, porta potties were not cleaned out, trash cans were filled up everywhere, bathrooms had little to no toilet paper, in fact the toilet paper dispenser was completely broken. The store provided nothing that we might've needed. Offered nachos & cheese, but was completely clueless that they had no cheese because the lady in there just sat there and did nothing of restocking. I remember with the previous owners every time there was any camp item that we might've forgotten that store had EVERYTHING. I had a family member come a little late to the campsite. Their area was already set up, but they were yelled at by one of the workers and was told that they had to sleep in their car. Needless to say, we will be finding a new campground next year, which breaks my heart to even say. Clearly the new owners need to figure this place out, and no we were not the only campers that were this upset. We, along with the other regulars that came every year were very upset and will not be coming back here again.

I drug up a mooring with my moomba max and it messed up my trailer and boat with NO HELP FROM THE STAFF

This place is a joke. Our family goes camping every summer and the place we usually go to was closed for the season so we decided to try this place. The first thing was the pictures of the campsites were very misleading. Online it showed nice trees and shade and when we got there, there were barely any trees and no shade at all. We were right in the sun. The 2nd thing was that one of the workers kept coming to our campsite and saying we need to turn our music down and keep our voices down since it was around quiet zone time which is 10pm to 7am which was fine and understandable since there are other campsites near us but the people camping right next to us had their music playing and were talking and no worker came and told them to be quiet and they were up playing their music until 3am. The worker came to our campsite twice and told us that this was our last warning and if we don't stop, we're going to be kicked out so we felt like we were being harassed and only our family was being targeted. We will never be coming to camp at this place again.

First off let me start by saying my family have been coming here for over more then 8+years for every year. We have rented out more then 5 campsite at least every time we come because we have such a big family and this place has always held a special memory and place for us until this year. I get it now that it's run by new owners and the store shop they have here has changed not that it the worst this but we got here on Thursday 6/13/24 and stayed until This morning Sunday. The first day we were here it was around 10:15pm and we had our music playing not even loud but some older guy on a golf cart came to our sight talking about " I don't know if you guys ever been here but there are rules and music needs to be off by 10:00 and the talking needs to be to a minimum" giving the fact that our only neighbors was our family members, then he goes to say "this is your warning and if I hear it again your getting kicked out " mind you it's 10:00 at night like we have played music here and never had anything workers make us feel like we're being scolded. We take time off work and our lives to come out here to enjoy with our family and forget about reality and then we have this guys comes to us with no respect no nicest or anything. I was talking to other campers and they were saying the exact same this that was told to us and it's ridiculous and rude. I don't know if it makes a difference but we will NEVER COME BACK HERE. I'm so upset about that because my dad who passed away made this a family tradition and now we have to find a new spot which is actually better for us because we will not be treated like kids. Honesty teach your employees some manner and respect for people who pay to stay at this place. Santellano Family.

Wow, let's say we had a nightmare ishhorrible experience. We rented a tent camp site for 2 nights. We were given an RV Slab camping site. It had the tiniest barbecue grill available. The water that was coming out of all the faucet was red and brown. People weren't allowed to shower that night. Once night fall came, the camp's site was infested with roaches Everywhere, they went in all our grocery bags and under them. Went into and under all our boxes that we had. The roaches hid under our tents also. There also seemed to be a termite infestation. We had to cut our camping trip short after spending over a thousand dollars on supplies, food, the Camping site and parking fees The workers that drove by, especially Travis, were nice and Welcoming. Dogs have to be on a leash at all times. If you want to go into the lake with your dog, You have to walk very far away if you didn't rent one of the tent sites at the lake front area. Had to fumigate my vehicle when I got home with all my stuff in it. I pray none of the bugs will be in my stuff at home. The owner Jake refused to refund, offered for us to stay another night. Will never be back. Beware. I have photos of the roaches I was up until 2 am stomping on. they varied in all shapes and sizes. one crawled up my arm when i was grabbing a piece of our firewood:(
