I tried them one more time, purchased tamales for a Christmas dinner and the quality did not change at all. 1. Too much masa2. Too dry3. Not enough sauce, 4. Very skimpy meatWhy don't the owners take the time to check the poor quality of their tamales?

Love the carnitas from the hot bar here. Salsa was pretty good too. Great option for Keto!

It seems the safe Mexican market to shop. I first went there with Mr. Perez from Starfrutas down the block and was impressed by the variety of produce. That said, you might need to pick and choose carefullyThey have a deli "Cocina" where you can get packaged salads, or cooked items like burritos and tacos.This first time on my own, I ordered two carne asada tacos and a large Jamaica drink. The conversation was in Espanglés/Spanglish but they seem okay with English, if you do that, though not everyone might be at the same level.They had quite a few working the deli area and they worked through the line quickly.You pay for the food at the cash registers toward the entrance/exit, and there is a seating area around the corner toward Yosemite Avenue.Service was friendly but the tacos' tortillas fell apart as soon as I lifted them, as if they hadn't been fried. I don't usually eat tacos with a spoon but that's practically what had to be done. The taste of the ingredients was good but whatever happened to the tortillas, I don't know.

I love this store and even better now that it has been remodeled, with an upgrade on the bakery and food areas. Service is always good, fast and courteous. The only thing I wish was better, is the parking. Adding one more handicap parking space will help and designing the spaces in an angle vs straight would help even better.

The pupusas were good and the tamales were pretty decent. The tamales I get at a nearby market are sort of dry so these ones were definitely better! Prices didn't seem bad either. The employees were patient with customers but the wait is pretty long at times (not employee's fault, it's just busy). I plan on coming back to get more pupusas!

Si ponen en el horario que van a cerrar a las 8:30pm así debería de ser. Llegue 8:10 por una emergencia y el lugar ya estaba cerrado. Me vieron llegando en el carro y apagaron la luz. Falta de respeto.

My family of 7 normally get our breakfast burritos from here. However the elder lady that took my huge order decided to add hotdogs in it. This has never happened before. And this was MY burrito.. I get all the meat Ham, bacon, chorizo and I was in my sons burrito too. As I'm cleaning up my youngest food, see chunks of hot dogs too. Thought I found a good breakfast burrito spot but man I'm over trying to find a good burrito joint.

Complete chaos! There is noFlow to the store. It's crowded. It's madness! I recently got some tamales and they are very big with little meat and super dry! Ordered half a dozen of chicken and half a dozen of pork. They got my order wrong and gave me half a dozen of pork and 3 chicken + 3 cheese. I never asked for cheese and was not happy about it. This is my last minute stop shop to get one or two things but definitely not my favorite store inside. It needs some structure and order!

I have been a customer of this yummy little gem since we moved here in1998 and they were located in that tiny store on main.The sons have done a fabulous job. The food counter is delicious although sometimes the tamales tend to be a little in the salty side everything else is delicious.The meat market is always clean and tidy with a lot of grey prices. My go to for skirt steak even cheaper than Costco with what appears to be the same quality.I'm so sorry that the person with the negative review felt that way. I have never had a problem and I also don't speak Spanish.To me best Mexican market in town!
