La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Galt

I almost don't want to leave a review for this hotel because it's my local hidden gem.My girlfriend and I date long distance and so we're stuck driving to each other depending on each other's schedules. Sometimes, we're craving local hotel life, as we call it, to just unwind, not worry about laundry or cleaning the house, fresh linens, pool, breakfast in the morning, etc.We originally found this hotel on the Booking.com app, but I signed up for the Wyndham rewards website, too. I should pay more attention next time of all the employee's names as I interact with them, but.... When I tell you that this is our local gem, it truly is. Whomever the general manager is of this location...... they have created an oasis here. It's modern, clean, quiet, comfortable, inviting, affordable, convenient, plush, cozy, downstairs bar, no parking fees, you can bring a pet, the list is endless.We've stayed here multiple times. It's honestly my favorite hotel locally aside from our own residences. I honestly don't want it to become more popular, but, they deserve all the praise and feedback for providing exceptional service.Thank you, Team (Galt) !

Checked in on Oct 31, 2024 for one night. I was greeted by Malia who was extremely kind and professional. Her customer service throughout our stay was top tiered. Our 2 full beds room was very clean and comfortable. The rooms are equipped with a microwave & fridge which is great if you have leftovers from a meal. The morning free breakfast buffet was the usual but we enjoyed it as we didn't have enough time to got out and get breakfast someplace else. Where the hotel is located there really aren't any nearby places to eat. So you may want to grab something to eat before checking in.

This is probably one of the coolest looking hotels I've stayed at. The staff were friendly and did a awesome job with the Halloween decor. We were not expecting the surprise in the elevator, scary. The beds are super comfortable, the only negative for me was the window doesn't open on the room which I think is a law now but it makes the room air really stale. They do have a dry air option on the ac which is nice. The lobby is my favorite part, it's huge and has a nice big bar and snack shop. I would definitely stay here again if I'm the area or on the way to Sacramento from afar.Need to clean behind the bed tho.

Wow, I am blown away by how nice this place was, especially during the busy holiday season. The front desk staff were helpful and got us checked in quickly (it also helped that they give you an option to kick start the check in process online which made it an efficient process). Our room was clean and I love that they have hardwood flooring here instead of carpet - it just makes everything feel a little more fresh. I also loved the nice decorations in the lobby area, super cute!! My only issue is the elevator carpet needs to be replaced - the carpet was dirty and given the amount of pets around because this is one of the few pet friendly spots in the area it didn't exactly smell fresh and clean. Other than that, it was a perfect stay and I will definitely be back next time I'm in town!

The hotel room had someone's things in it and so the room wasn't cleaned well I ended up waking up covered bites don't stay here unless u want to be have bites all over ur body

I'm always hesitant to stay at a motel/hotel that's not within my comfort zone by brand name..although I am familiar with Wyndham but my go to has always been Marriott, Hyatt, Hilton of sorts. My husband booked this hotel for 1 night on Thanksgiving Day.We called the hotel at around 11ish am to see if we could check in early and was told there was no room available but that they could try to get us a room at 130pm for extra fees. No, thank you. We will wait until 3pm for check-in then.My husband checked in around 3ish-pm, and we didn't come to the hotel until after Thanksgiving dinner at my SILs and let the kids swim in the indoor pool. The lobby is small but cleaned, and there is a dispenser with cucumber infused ice water available. There are about 4-5 tables in the lounge with a TV, and the bar is right there. The bar seems pretty stocked with some top shelf alchohol. Also, there is a mini convenience store next to the check-in counter.We had a 4th floor room. The elevator is a little slow but clean and big. The hallway to the 4th floor is clean and pretty wide with bright lit lights. We have a double bed room. 1. The room is average size and decorated simple with a painting above each bed and a couple of fixture/art pieces. Nothing to fancy. Simple and clean. There is a small fridge, microwave, and coffee makers with some complimentary coffee pods, creamers and cups.2. The desk light did not work even though I switched outlets to test it. The outlet by the desk seems dead. The outlet by the bed's nightstand works, but I can only plug one charger in only as it doesn't fit 2 chargers side by side. The switch for the lights in the sleeping area is very small, like the ones for the night light. It's kind of hidden right under the light, so you need to look under it to turn the lights on. Lights seem to be sensored as it all turned off pitch black after a certain amount of time. As soon as I moved and sat up from the bed, the lights turned back on.3. The bathroom is pretty nice and roomy. I love the spacious shower. There are complimentary Dove hygiene products on the wall in the stall and a small rack to keep any of your other products you may need during the shower. The shower stall is very roomy, though I hit my elbow on the metal bar when I wasn't paying attention. Ouch! The water is pretty hot but not burning hot, and the pressure is strong. The shower head is high up, so good for tall people. There are 4 sets of towels available, which is great, so I don't need to call for extra for our family of 4. 4. The pool is small, and the capacity is up to 17 people. The depth of the pool is up to 5 feet. There are a few chairs and small tables. Water is warm for the kids, but there is an odd smell in there (not chlorex), maybe because there was no ventilation. There are towels available at a small cabinet.Overall, it was a nice stay for the night that includes complimentary continental breakfast from 630a-930a. A nice hotel and would stay again in the the future if I am in the area.

It says you get breakfast from 630-930am but went down to eat at 8:00am and there was no eggs or coffee. I asked the lady at the front desk she sent the cook and the cook said there was no more eggs and would not make any there was no more? With over 1 hour to go ridiculous. Walking to my room over 3 families going down to eat & NO EGGS..

Check in was a breeze with a friendly clerk. The lobby was extra large with a sitting area, outdoor area, and bar. We had a double queen room, room was on the smaller side but very very clean, large bathroom, and plenty of space for two people or a small family. TV has cable, YouTube, and you can sign into Netflix. Small fridge, coffee/tea/hot chocolate maker, and microwave.Ice maker and washer/dryer is on the second floor. Breakfast had lots of options, when we came there was: cereal, oatmeal, waffles, toast/english muffins, pastries, hard boiled eggs, omelets, bacon, scrambled eggs, granola bars, juices, and yogurt. We didn't get down till 9am, 30 min until closing and everything was stocked and fresh. Area around hotel seems safe, slightly industrial, right off the freeway.

Stayed here for a business trip and gotta say rooms are nice and staff is great. All are super friendly overall Vanessa was GREAT although she works both the front desk and bar area she was always very attentive and hospitable to everyone. Vanessa brings this hotel good energy. I would definitely come back and recommend this hotel.

My wife and I had the pleasure of staying and can't stop talking about how great it was! The hotel is modern the staff is all very friendly and it was extremely clean. We will definitely stay again in the future.
