We've been utilizing their summer program and part-time Daycare for some time now and have been thoroughly happy with our experience with La Petite. The staff is wonderful. I appreciate the cameras and photos sent via the app. We've had nothing but a great experience.

When we first signed up with La Petite we felt that it was a decent place for my son to have some interaction with other children (he was about 3). All was ok until he started Pre-K and it just didn't seem as though he was learning much but we thought give it a little time. There were a couple good teachers that interacted with my son but I kept feeling that he wasn't getting the attention he needed because there seem to be so many children and not enough staff. The day that changed everything was when my husband went to pick up my son and noticed one of the care providers in the infant room roughly grabbing a baby. He was so shocked and went to speak to the director. The interim director was not on site so my husband spoke to him the following day and explained what he had seen. Needless to say, the interim director stated that he would speak with the care providers to hear their side of the story and would get back to my husband by evening. We did receive a phone call from the interim director stating that after speaking with the care providers, my husband had not seen what he thought he saw, it must have been a mistake but he would have the care providers review the care policies again to ensure they are following them. I knew that my husband had no reason to make this up, it wasn't his child that was part of the incident and he was so upset about it. After receiving the call from La Petite, we decided to remove my son from the school. We have sinced enrolled him in a new Pre-K and now see that he wasn't learning as much as he should have in LP. He comes home and tells us how much he has learned - we can see the difference.I would not recommend LP in Lodi.

I took a tour of LPA and knew right away this was not the place for my daughter. First off, the smell of poop and urine hits you in the face. The office staff was not friendly and when I inquired about the possibility of my daughter being in a certain class they treated me like I was over-selling my daughter. Guess what, she actually IS gifted and needs an environment that challenges her. She keeps asking to go to school to learn more than I can teach her but these people only wanted to stick to the age groups they already had. they wouldn't even agree to evaluate her. It was dirty and kids were sleeping on the GROUND. Gross.

My husband and I are both teachers and recently moved into the area. After looking at several pre-schools for our 4 year old daughter, we picked La Petite in Lodi. That was a year ago and we are SO happy that we selected this place. Our daughter, who is just about to turn 5, learned so much there. The teachers were all great, as were the director and co-director. She has learned so many site words, she is actually reading Level 1 books. Her confidence has grown and they prepared her for Kindergarten. I would HIGLY recommend this location!

Went on a few weeks ago for a tour. Looking for something a little closer to home. Will hate leaving my child's current preschool and actually after visiting here and a few others I may suck up the drive time and stay where we are at. Staff seems unapproachable and the kids are out of control. The place smells terrible and isn't the cleanest I've seen. Do not recommend.

I pulled my kids out. Inconsistent rules, unable to manage challenging but normal toddler behaviors. There are a couple great teachers but they keep leaving. I loved this school but now that we are out, I'm very glad. I'd not put my kids back there without knowing all the Licensing laws inside and out, and making multiple unannounced visits.

If I could give them zero stars I would In the last 3 weeks my daughter has been neglected and hurt and it always seems to happen outside where there isn't access for cameras. The teacher Stacie seems to have zero patience with the toddlers. Overwhelmed and always going in circles in the classroom she has no patience with kids I've seen my daughter fall and get hurt and no one come to her to help her. Do not send your children here they don't care about your kids at all.

Director of the school is the worse one to deal with, when you call 800 number they will say they have spot empty but when you in person director straight forward tells you no she's racist, discriminate you I'm lucky I didn't put my child in there school, where they don't treat you right, plus it stinks in there and teacher are very rude too, not trustworthy at all Zero Star definitely!!!!!!'

I did not like it at all!! My child was crying for hours and nobody gave him attention and this went for days ! Process is so mechanical and not organized at all!! Teacher was overwhelmed or what u don't know ..they left my child at his own to adjust few first crucial days of starting school and leaving home!No kind words ..no comforting rather teacher said I can't come with you! I felt miserable so withdrawing him was the last option!!

After staying at home the first 6 months with my daughter, I was terrified at the thought of daycare. While she had a slow transition, La Petite was nothing but patient. The Brightwheel app that they use give us updates throughout the day, is truly awesome. My husband and I love getting updates and seeing photos of our daughter while we're away. They log her naps and feedings too!! Ms. Michelle is so kind and sweet to our daughter, as well as all the other staff!
