La Parrilla

Food and drinks always on point!! The only place my picky, picky daughter will eat Mexican food. Service is great- always smiling and friendly staff - from the host/hostess, to the waiters/waitresses and bartenders. You will not regret choosing La Parrilla!

I hate writing bad reviews but this place is cutting so many corners i feel like the other La Parrilla's don't transgress as bad as this place. For one thing, there are NO REFILLS ON CHIPS & SALSA!Endless Chips and salsa are a staple of mexican dining and I'd understand if it was an upscale restaurant experience but La Parilla is a run of the mill almost franchise-esque establishment.My food was overcooked and bland, I just ate what i could leaving my entire entree on the plate and they only took off 10% off a $14 dish instead of at least removing it entirely off my bill or at least given me 50% off I only got -$1.40 off my tab, ludicrous. The staff was great and the place was beautiful to end on a good note. Nobody I know will come here after my experience.

3.5 stars overall. I enjoy going here... but it's always so cold. I ask for heater..but they never turn up. food is good. This time I ordered Shrimp cocktail for dinner. We sat at the bar for first time to eat as it was packed. the prawns were a tad fishy. And the cocktail had zero spice:( I added an entire salsa dip to it. my friend had chicken verde. He said It was ok. The server behind the bar is where all the points to go to. She was all smiles. And I do like Christmas decor. Not too overdone. But please turn on the heat so we can enjoy a meal and take our coats off.

This place has it all. GREAT food friendly service and a cool chill atmosphere to either relax or party with your friends. If you are in Modesto, there is no better place to go. Christian, yaya and Gabby are amazingly kind and fast with service.

Honestly I'm a bit surprised with the reviews on here. Most people are complaint about the price, but I found them to be more than reasonable, especially compared to LA. Anyways, I've been here twice already and the salsa is addicting! This staff were extremely attentive and helpful. They helped us with some great recommendations for our burritos, suggesting the green sauce and a poblano sauce. Food 4/5 Service 5/5Ambiance 5/5Lastly, I will add that this is a really nice place to sit down and eat.

I've been going here off and on for about 4 years now. I like this place but its menu just seems very similar to any traditional Mexican cuisine. I do like the fit options on the menu. I think the restaurant itself along with the bar and tvs is a good touch. All in all the food won't wow you but it's is a nice place to grab dinner.

Would not recommend. Why ? Bartenders are sensitive and inject themselves into your conversations. Maybe have more men as bartenders who dont care what you have to say.

I have been to this restaurant three times now. I have to say the first couple times I've been here were not the most pleasant. The food was good, the customer service was not. This is the first time I am leaving a review and it's because I feel like tonight redeemed the other two visits. When my son and I walked in the door, we were greeted by the host who was super nice. Then there was another lady named Faith, who was very attentive and our waitress Vanessa, who was on top of checking in on us and making sure we had everything we needed. Again the food is good. I like to get the chef bowl, highly recommend if you're looking for something a more healthier option. My son got Carne Asada tacos and rice. I know people mentioned that there are not refills on the chips ; however, I am totally fine with this since most of the time I will eat way too many chips before my meal.
