La Palma Salad w/chkn. The chicken is perfectly seasoned. Squeezed lemon as a dressing does not cut it so I got ranch dressing on the side.

The sauce for the Chile Verde was sour and the rice tasted old. Like it's was days old mixed in with new , you could even smell that is was bad ! While my service was ok, we did have to ask for refills and providing that they add a 20% Service Fee for parties of 5 or more . Not gratuity I was told. It's a service fee for all the people they say worked to serve you. If I could give no Star I would, this place use to be good, but has somehow gone downhill really bad.

I've been to this place for some birthdays of my parents and grandparents. But now this place has gone downhill. Today after church service me and my family stopped here for lunch I got fajitas the beef looks like rubber and the chili verde was sour barely beef. Not coming back

I've always wanted to try this restaurant so we finally did. I,well all my family were disappointed. When we first sat down at our table and our drinks came out, the drinks were spilled on me while the waitress was trying to place them down. The food didn't really have a lot of flavor in any of our opinions. You would think they would've took some of the drinks off the table as a courtesy but they didn't. I won't be going here again.

Good Mexican food and good service. I had the menudo and it was great. I also had a chance to try their enchiladas, nachos and quesadillas which were also really tasty. Glad we stopped in between basketball games. Great bar for drinking too.

Moved to the neighborhood, was skeptical to try this place because of the reviews. The location is great and the decor inside was nice, like all the other reviews, the chips and salsa were good. Food wise though everything was bland, everything tasted the same. The beans,rice, and my chili relleno were bland, barely any flavor to no flavor at all along with the Tortillas being subpar. The chimichanga was not good as well, with having one bite of dry chicken in the whole thing. The pricing wasn't horrible but for the quality of food, it just didn't add up. Service was good and the bar was packed.

Lunch at this location was interesting. While the chips and salsa were yummy they sure had a kick. The waitress Patricia was not friendly at all and was very short with us. As soon as you tried to take your last bite she was grabbing the plate and walking off. I had asked her several things but she was very short with us. It was not pleasant at all. The place was clean although another patron had their dog just walking around off leash. That was off putting not knowing how others feel about pet's especially just roaming around (not a small dog by the way). We had the fajitas 3 way with shrimp, steak and chicken. Well I'd say it was beef but not steak. Quite interesting texture, the platter had far more bell peppers and onions than meat. We did have a yummy drink but our waitress was so unfriendly we didn't opt for another drink. It was easier to just pay and leave.

My husband and I used to recommend this place to all our friends. Today we went there for lunch. The chips and salsa were great and so was the service, but our orders were flavorless and we were served old tortillas. Neither one of use finished our meals, and we both had to rush to the restroom right after. Also we paid $57 for 2 burritos.

We have been going to La Palma for many years as it is in the neighborhood and used to be good. The last few times we have been there left us wondering why we go back. I noticed that during COVID when I would clean the table with my own disinfectant wipe that the wipe would come up quite dirty. When I pointed this out to the waitress she literally just shrugged her shoulders. It left me wondering that if it was dirty where I could see, how dirty are the places that I couldn't see? Today I was with a group of 8. We informed the waitress that we would need separate checks which she said she would not do. There was only one other table occupied in the restaurant. I insisted and she finally acquiesced but acted angry for the remainder of the meal.The food came out cold, but we were afraid to send it back so just put up with it.After the meal I approached the manager, Manuel, about another group scheduled to lunch there next week. He informed me that the policy is clearly stated on the menu, and that I was welcome to go to another restaurant next time. I will now go to another restaurant every time. Business must be good.
