La Mexicana Restaurant Y Birrieria

Excellent food and service, and their prices are reasonable.This is our new go to Mexican Restaurant in Lodi.Their ala carte items are perfect for lunch. Chimichangas are really good - I always ask for it to be topped with gravy.Our sone brought us here because he loves their birrieria. That is excellent also. But really everything they have seems to be really good. Check out the other reviews!

The chips were not homemade and the three salsas were very mediocre. The burrito was also very average and not a lot of flavor. The tampiquena was good. The beans and rice were tasty. The homemade flour tortillas was the best part. Service was not good. Couldn't get a box or the bill for quite some time. Overall a very average experience here.

Went in for an late weekday lunch.Fast friendly service.Carnitas was great, rice and beans were very good as well as the guacamole, salsa was tasty, just really watery.Great food.Looking forward to our return.

Me and my boyfriend had only been here at night when they have the tacos going outside. We decided to give the restaurant a try and it was a good experience. My boyfriend ordered the wet burrito de pastor w/green salsa it was actually pretty big and very good like the salsa taste I would recommend it. I ordered the order of quesabirrias, comes with 3 and a side of consume (the Birria broth), the tacos were good, had a lot of meet and crunchy( I dislike soggy quesabirrias) but the consome I have to say didn't have the greatest taste. It's good but I had better. But over a good experience.

Fast, friendly service. The shrimp in the enchiladas were tender and cooked to perfection. The red sauce was homemade, flavorful and not runny and the beans were delicious and the perfect consistency. I was also pleasantly surprised that their Jamaica was not too sweet and I added a slice of lime to add a little zing. It was Delicious! This is a nice, clean, family friendly little spot worth the drive. I live in Sacramento, but in town for my Mom's appt. I'll definitely be back. 2 thumbs up to the Chef.

We come to Lodi every now & then for Wine tasting. We enjoy Mexican lunches & discovered a new tasty spot.La Mexicana Restaurant y Birrieria. The food was very good. We had grilled chicken quesadillas, fajitas & taquitos. Prices are reasonable. Waitress was attentive. Very casual spot.Several tables for inside seating. Flour tortillas were delicious.Chips were O.K. Spicy salsa. Will definitely come back to this spot

Came here for lunch. Very reasonable and very clean restaurant. I had the regular pastor burrito. Used the hot sauce which I might add is very hot and spicy just the way I like it. Pastor really tasty and good. My wife had a birria taco which was okay. Chips and salsa just average. She also had a homemade flour tortilla which was excellent. I would like to go back and try the fajitas. All in all a solid 4 star.

Authentic & delicious. Home made tortillas,Fresh ingredients. When we're headed to the Bay Area we always stop here.

My friend and I arrived around Noon for lunch. It was not too busy. Clean, nice interior space with lots of light coming in. Plenty of seating. I ordered the chorizo and eggs. Breakfast served all day. My chorizo was not too spicy (perfect) and the rice and beans were flavorful. They brought out 4 huge tortillas to the table in a closed container. It reminded me of the ones my Mom used to make. My friend really enjoyed her carnitas plate. Large portions! The guacamole is really fresh. The server was friendly and kept checking on us. I love the authenticity of the food and will definitely return to try more off the menu.

They make wrong food bring to home I noice I get wrong food n I have come back to show them wrong food. They want rebuy it. They are wrong! I will Not come Back!! Rip off!!
