Komachi Sushi

Komachi is our go-to date night spot. We have tried almost every sushi restaurant in the Stockton/Lodi area, but nothing compares to Komachi.We usually order 3-4 rolls: flaming dragon (10/10), code 3 (10/10), big bertha (not on the menu but you should definitely ask your server next time you go. 10/10!) and the last roll is usually the extinguisher (9/10). All the rolls are pretty decent in size and have the freshest fish I've ever had. The quality of this restaurant is above any other sushi restaurants in the area. We have also tried the jalapeño bombs, stuffed mushrooms, and miso soup. All are very tasty & I would definitely recommend!I will say, the restaurant is very popular especially on weekends around dinner. They do offer takeout, but if you would like to eat in, I recommend going before 6 PM or calling ahead to check their wait times (we have had to wait upwards of 30 minutes for a table for two, but it is very much well worth the wait). Price wise is around the same as your usual sushi spot, so expect to pay around $15-18/roll. The ambiance is very cozy, but I do believe they are going to expand in the future. They have outdoor seating as well!Overall, Komachi sushi is our all time favorite restaurant and we will continue going here for as long as they're open!

Komachi is one of my go-to spots for sushi in Lodi! They have an extensive menu with so many delicious options to choose from, which keeps me coming back. The staff here have always been incredibly kind and attentive, making every visit such a pleasant experience.I want to give a special shoutout to my most recent visit with my friend. We were seated on the outdoor patio, and while it was a bit chilly, the team went above and beyond to make us comfortable. There were two heaters nearby, and the staff even provided us with blankets and a shawl to keep warm. It was such a thoughtful gesture that made the evening feel so cozy and memorable.Price point is kind of expensive but I do feel like the quality of food & service is definitely worth it! Also, there is usually always a wait here so just be prepared to wait especially on the weekends!

Came here on a busy Friday night and was seated pretty quickly. The restaurant is small but it can accommodate large parties pretty well. Our server was attentive and gave us some good insight on menu items. We ordered grilled squid and edamame to start plus 4 other rolls. The squid was kind of chewy and rubbery and wasn't charred the way I like. Edamame was well, edamame and you can't really mess that up. I don't exactly remember which four rolls we ordered, however I do remember that one of them came on a flaming plate and wrapped in foil. Neat presentation and the server opened the foil for us after the flame died. Overall our experience was enjoyable. The flavored sake we ordered was a little too sweet for my liking but what else could I expect, lol. Would recommend and would visit again.

I always have great experiences here. Came for an early dinner with my bestie. It was nice that it wasn't too busy so we were immediately seated. Our waitress was really nice and knowledgeable of the menu. We ordered the jalapeño bomb and gyoza for starters. We had the GSW, Golden Philadelphia Roll, and the firecracker roll as our main course. We both ordered their peach soju drink. Everything tasted great and left us happy & full. Definitely would return for more.

Komachi Sushi FTW!!! Jorge delivered an exceptional customer service experience, and I cannot wait to return! My friend and I arrived around 7 pm on a Friday night, so it was a packed house, and all that was left was either bar seating with little elbow room or outside dining. We chose to wait for an indoor table. We didn't wait long, maybe 10 minutes at most.We looked over the menu and at first planned on ordering an appetizer. We ended up skipping that part and instead went right for the goods. The rolls of choice:Flaming Dragon $19.95Spiderman (XL Size) $23.95Now, I know what you're thinking. Uhhh, who goes to a sushi place and ONLY gets 2 rolls?! Especially HER!! Well, read up, lol! These aren't skimpy rolls by any means. When we first walked in, we almost sat at the bar, but opted for a table instead. On our way back outside to wait, I passed a couple who had a gargantuan roll on their table. I asked what it was because I had NEVER in my life seen such a beautiful monstrosity! I was intrigued and stared at it as I walked out. The guy said it was the Spiderman, and that's when I knew I HAD to have it.That roll is 100% the largest I have seen. You really have to see it to believe it!! They don't call it "XL Size" for nothin', that's for sure! The Flaming Dragon was such a delightful roll. Jorge lit that baby up for us. We watched as the flames slowly died out, and when he opened the foil packet, it was like Christmas morning!! It goes without saying that Komachi Sushi is top tier in my book. I had sushi for lunch earlier in the day, but I was glad to have it again for dinner. You cannot go wrong if you come here. I would happily fly to Sacramento and drive the hour to get here just to have this again!! Prices are well worth it. Service was lovely, and this is an excellent place to dine with family and friends, or even for date night.Ok I'll stop now because I'm starting to drool just thinking about it. You get the picture, now do what you have to do and GO!! You. Are. Welcome. =)

Good ambience for date night!! Service was pretty fast, and Flaming Dragon roll was a spectacle to say the least. Not the best garlic edamame, but the rolls were delectable. Would 100% come back again.

Loved this restaurant!! We found it randomly to meet up with family and honestly the sashimi was extremely fresh! The sushi was all extremely tasty and we even ordered ramen which was very good!!!!!!!!We really enjoyed our time and even the atmosphere. They have outdoor seating with cute blankets even in the winter to sit outside

Randomly decided to meet family in Lodi for dinner after Christmas and we were not disappointed! They have a huge selection of sushi rolls, sashimi, hot dishes and cold dishes. We ordered 7 rolls, 2 sashimi combos and 1 ramen. Each one was delicious and hit the spot. Fish and ingredients all tasted fresh. The rolls came out pretty quickly and weren't falling apart like other places that rush their preparations. Service was great and atmosphere was warm and cozy. They were playing rap music which wasn't giving a sushi vibe but it wasn't too loud so I appreciated that, since we were there to see family. Overall it was a great experience and we will definitely come back next time we're in Lodi.

I have been here a few times since my last review as it seems to have had some great feedback from friends. The sushi is really good! The service has been really nice and quick. They are fairly busy and have to have everyone there prior to seating because they are busy. Everything is really fresh and now one of my daughters and my favorite sushi place in Lodi. The rolls are also a good size! I'm really happy with this place and wanted to update my review to reflect that
