This is for the general store not the saloon. Has some food - lots of beer. A smaller selection of Grocery items and not much else. The saloon is just next door and seemed like they had some good tunes going. A couple historical elements in the back of the store. They may want to put a little TLC...its a historic building with a community role...worth highlighting that more prominently. Across from the creamery. Has selection of souvenirs.

Cute little shop with all random type of stuff. I stopped by here as a last minute camping supplies. Bought an air mattress for $20, 2 shot glasses that say Knights Ferry, $10 pack of cigarettes and some sunblock. I took some pictures of inside the store which I thought were cool.

The Knights Ferry General Store, Saloon and Cafe are open for business once again! I love this store and have great hope for its success! Locally owned and operated, selling organic produce, sandwiches and take away food, and regular grocery items plus weekend cupcakes provided by Knights Ferry Baking Co.Buy a T-Shirt, an artisan postcard, fishing and swimming stuff, and don't forget the ice! Stay longer, order a Whiskey Burger (excellent choice) or a Chopped salad (equally good choice) at the Cafe. You can wait in the Saloon and sip on a favorite drink and chat with some locals. Stay a little longer, if it's a weekend you might even get to hear fantastic live music! So much nostalgia and home-town heritage you just won't wanna leave!

Cool, old timey spot with outdoor seating. Not super welcoming to newcomers, though. Which would have been fine if the bartender had given me correct change.

Just had by far the best burger I have ever eaten, and I have had them all over the globe. Not a complicated burger, however a superior taste. The meat and onions attack as one, it is definitely a true treat. Don't mind the wait, play some dice and have a couple of drinks.

Prices are high, but convenience is this places greatest gift. Pretty old building , neat experience. When you need supplies , it's the only local place to go.

This review is for the general store :)We came for our anniversary this weekend and we were so excited to get out here we left half of the items we planned to take with us home!Thankfully this little shop is around, and is actually Californias oldest convenience store. Everything is actually pretty reasonably priced for being the only general store within 20 minutes (that I'm aware of) and the owner is super friendly and everyone seems to gravitate to sitting down on his doorstep and talking, really love the atmosphere around there, a general happy feeling. Thank you for your hospitality!
