​I can't say enough good things about Jessica & Erick at Knifelyfe Catering. They catered our New Year's Eve wedding for about 120 people. We chatted with them several times about our vision (heavy appetizers featuring our favorites like chicken & waffles and poke), to which they translated into an incredible tasting, which then became a successful cocktail-style reception with amazing food that our guests raved about. The presentation of the appetizers was adorable and coordinated with the rest of our wedding decor.They were available when I had random questions for them during the planning process, and were flexible with us regarding the menu when we requested small tweaks in a family recipe they recreated for us. It is clear from talking to them and visiting their pop-up events throughout Sacramento that they are passionate about the food they prepare and building their presence in the greater Sacramento area. They just opened up a restaurant in Galt (Streetzlan), so if you do not seek them out for catering services then be sure to check out their restaurant for some more deliciousness.

I first tried KnifeLyfe at the farmer's market and was so impressed by their gourmet/fusion twist on food. They layer a lot of different flavors and make harmonious dishes worthy of 4 star restaurants. The food was so affordable for how many quality ingredients were used. The flavors were so good and the owner Erick was super nice. I asked them be the food vendor for a fundraiser I hosted and everyone was BLOWN away by the food! They made delicious and thoughtful food that both adults and children enjoyed! They had a vegetarian option that was satisfying to this meat lover. And their meat was so tender and flavorful! Everyone raved about how good the food was at my event a while after the event ended. Not only that, but they loved the kind service that they got from this sweet young family. They were so professional and easy to work with! I told them that there would be a lot of kids and they had no problem creating kid-friendly food even though most chefs of this caliber don't want to make more simple food. They went above and beyond all my expectations and I would hire them again for literally any event. I have referred KnifeLyfe to my friends and family for their catering needs and I will go out of my way to seek out their food at farmers markets and events. You've GOT to try their food!

This past weekend my Grandaughter was baptized and after the ceremony my family and guests were treated to a Wonderful Buffet Brunch that was created by Erick and Jessica. At the beginning of planning for this Blessed Event, my daughter knew that she wanted something different in terms of the food that she was going to offer her guests....her husband had heard great reviews of KnifeLyfe Catering and reached out to them and so the menu planning began....I cannot RAVE enough about this Power Couple!!! Not only is their food right on point and oh so delicious, the way they set everything out was very creative....my personal favorite were the "Chicken and Waffles" screwers, but honestly EVERYTHING WAS OUTSTANDING!!!!Their personal touches and attention to detail and attentiveness to the guests were Phenomenal.....everyone at my table kept raving about the food and my daughter and son in Law were very pleased with their level of service and hearing their guests compliment how good the food was!!!I personally want to Thank You Erick and Jessica for a JOB WELL DONE...Marta (Vanessa's Mom)

I hosted an open house for my company on April 22nd. I have to say I wish we moved to Elk Grove 4 years ago when we started hosting these so we could of had Erick and Jessica cook for us. Not only was the food amazing their service was outstanding. We ran out of food due to feeding close to 100 hungry men. Next year I know to order for 100 extra people. Erick and Jessica had already catered one party earlier in the day. Even though they had a long day the smile on their faces never left. I excited to have our open house next year to see what they can cook up for us. Thank you guys for everything! You were amazing!

Delicious coconut lime chili shrimp tacos (ate one on the run). This was the food booth at two rivers cider event (Sunday). The other two gave to the one I was checking on in Rancho Cord. Everything just right, not too much cabbage or dripping with sauce. Just plain good.

This is not your average catering company!! I met these guys at the farmers market and was really impressed with their presentation and quality of food. Seriously each plate looks like a work of art! They gave me their card and I decided to and hire them for my husband's 30th birthday. I worked with Jessica who was very professional and responsive to my emails and calls. The chef created a menu for me that I was absolutely in love with. We decided to go with a taco bar. He gave me the option to change some of the menu options, but I decided to just stick to his vision because it sounded amazing. From set up to clean up these guys were legit. The chef is very creative and innovative, but at the same time very practical and knows what foods please a crowd. Everyone loved it. Also budget friendly! Highly recommend!

I dont know where to start. To begin Erick was so friendly, and when asked about his business you could see him become overridden with pride and passion. Everything is homemade and incredibly delicious. I almost didnt want to finish, so I could have left overs...but it was just to too good to save. We ordered from a tent outside of a brewery, but the presentation would have you thinking that you were cooked for by a 5 star restraunt on the coast! Whatever your event, dial him now. Nothing beats good taste and family owned/ran. Thanks for filling our bellies! We look forward to next time!

Erick and Jessica are fantastic. They did a brunch buffet for my aunt's memorial. The food was delicious, fresh, and beautifully presented. The made a meat lover's frittata, veggie frittata, a bagel sandwich spread, and a fruit and cheese tower. The service was outstanding, and they are both delightful to chat with. We also had 7 kids, aged from 4-12, that went back for multiple servings. Jessica and Erick both chatted with them and helped serve their plates. They are very kid friendly.I highly highly recommend them!

This is the first time getting a caterer for our event, I inquired with a few and chose Jessica and Eric from KnifeLyfe Catering. They worked with our budget and created a menu for our Son's 1st birthday which was at a park, they met with us in person to confirm the menu and kept in touch right up to the event to help us not just plan the food but also the dishes, silverware, drinks, and the overall presentation which was very important to us. We had many cultures represented at our event and Eric and Jessica made sure that they all felt really welcomed and accommodated. We had some late comers and Eric and Jessica stayed after their designed time to make sure that everyone was fed before the started cleaning up. We not only will do business with KnifeLyfe again, we have recommended them to friends and family that attended our event, and most importantly we made some new friends
