Kloss Park

Kloss park play structure is just under a mile walk from Pederson Park. I say this because this spot has a bathroom but Pederson does not but that spot has a zip lip :-)Kloss play structure has a bit of shade and the "big kid " play area can still accommodate some smaller kids (keep an eye on them though due to the height - but what little doesn't love a good ramp). The little kid play area is smaller than Pederson. There are two shade covered table areas in this park one close and one further away from these play structures. Quite a few other single tables and bbqs throughout and lots of trees. this park has baseball field and lots of lawn area. Restrooms are pretty decent the times I've needed to use it. Not too bad - better than a porta potty. Conveniently located functional drinking fountain for humans and dogs. If you wanted to get a coffee and meet up with friends - park at Starbucks by Bel Air and walk a little over a mile to this playground and back for a beautiful exercise experience.

I recently visited Kloss Park this morning to walk my friend's dog. Although it was dark during my visit, I could tell the park offers a lot for both people and pets. The paved trails were easy to navigate, and the park felt spacious and well-maintained. It's great for dog walks, with plenty of open areas and shaded spots during the day (from what I can tell from all the trees). Definitely a family friendly park since there are playgrounds, picnic areas, and some sports field areas. I wish I could have taken pictures to capture its charm, but I'll definitely return during daylight to explore more! Xoxo

Close to the house and very nice walking paths!Being from out of town, I noticed the people on the path are very hot dial and friendly.It was great to walk and see all the trees and grass!Keeps me motivated and feel much better!

Kloss Park is one of the premier parks in the City of Elk Grove. Located on Laguna Park Drive right next to Foulks Ranch Elementary School.With it's large play ground, it makes a perfect place to bring the kids to play while you sit and relax. The playground has swings,slides,climbing structures and much more.During little league season, the 2 baseball diamonds are in high demand!Soccer goal posts line the huge grassy area. A dog station is provided for us dog lovers There is also a huge covered gazebo for that special birthday party or barbecue. The park is connected to a large green belt that stretches for blocks for that evening walk or bike ride. They even have a bathroom and a fire station on park grounds. Good to know in case of an emergency! Plenty of parking around the park.A perfect place to make everlasting memories

Cute park. Like that the play structures are well-built and fun, that there's a nice bathroom facility, and there's a bike path nearby and there're trees around to provide shady areas when it's hot out. BUT I'm not too sure about having the cellphone tower right behind the park! I may not want to come back to this park too often with our son.

Located next to a fire truck station, this park is pretty cool. It wasn't busy when we went and we just parked on the side walk. A little disappointed in the small sand area but it's still ok. There was very few swings! If you have more than one kid wanting to use the swing at the same time then this park isn't for you. Take a look at the pics. Would come to this park again.

Love this park and its fire red & yellow play structure. My kids runs up and down the ramps to the two slides. This Park also has a sandpit, a firetruck, a wheelchair swing, a set of swings and one covered table for picnicking. We come out to kloss once a week for an hr. mommy workout, the kiddo loves this park every time we drive up to it.Plus they have bathrooms!Best part are fire trucks and the firemen next to the park. All the kids stop and stare as they go by!

We've been here a few times. We don't usually come here as it's not our neighborhood park, but we would get together with friends so that our kids can have a playdate. This is a good central location since this park is easy to find, off a main thoroughfare in a residential neighborhood in Elk Grove, and yet small enough of a park for us to easily keep an eye on our kids. There's a few sections to the playground. The several play structures are all well maintained and what we do like is that each of Elk Grove's parks are very well designed and feature a different theme and the different "obstacles" that are part of each play structure differ from those you would find at another park. This is an especially good park for toddlers as the play structures are more geared towards littler ones. Excellent design and very friendly for toddlers. There's also bathrooms which is great and just next door is the fire station so you know you'll be in good hands if your kids were to fall off and break a bone or need some first-aid assistance (hopefully not). =P

Wonderful fire engine themed Park for children. Slides, swings, fire engine, little house, drums, bells! ! such a fun and cute Park! Its next to the fire station so it made my son's day to see a fire engine come through and the fire fighters wave to him. When we left he said bye bye red (fire engine in Disney pixar cars) Park also includes a special swing for disabled children although please note you need to get a special key for it. Really impressed they've thought to include all children all abilities.

Perfect park for the little ones. There's a play structure and plenty of play area. There's also many fields - soccer, baseball, football, etc.
