Kiwanis Bark Park

This is such a magnificent little park. We have only visited a handful of times, but if I lived closer I would bring my pup here every day. The park itself is in a nice residential location so there is very little vehicle or pedestrian traffic. It is always peaceful and quiet when I have visited with the exception of laughter if there happen to be children on the playground, but who doesn't enjoy that happy noise? It is very well kept up with green grass and clean bathrooms and the dog park section is adorable and always maintained. It has a big and small dog area and a paved path for dog parents to get their steps in while there pups play. There are also a few benches to rest on and some exercise equipment for Fido. Hands down one of the best places to take your dog in the area. Can't wait for our next visit.

Our princess dog doesn't poop unless there's grass, so we did a quick search for the closest dog park on the way home.I was a little nervous with the low stars but this park is so nice. There's a mini agility course, plenty of grass, a paved walkway, fountain, and benches. People and dogs here were friendly.

Kiwanis Bark Park 1 & 2 is located in the City of Galt California. The fairly large dog park complex connects to Monterey Park. Here you will find park #1 mainly for the larger dogs and dog park #2 for the smaller dogs.Both areas are fairly large in size with both having benches to sit while your dog runs wild, ramps for your dog to climb, hoops to jump through, and tubes to run through. I don't know who will be more exhausted , the dog or you after spending the day here !This is a great looking and well maintained dog park ! Dog friendly all the way !

Great dog park! However, the City of Galt has declared a financial crisis and to solve it they will no longer be providing poop bags. There's a proclamation stating just that taped to the bin that used to vend them. Now, no surprise, there's poop all over the park because people come there expecting to be able to clean up after their dogs but there's no bags. Expect a tax increase to cover the massive expense.

Love this dog park! Bravo to the Kiwanis organization for spearheading this wonderful site. Clean, spacious, areas for both small and large dogs right next to a kiddy playground so great exercise for the whole fam! Lodi, please build one like this!!!

Big dog park is closed.Not sure when will it open.Being a GSP parent you would know.
