Kids Discovery Station

My 2.5yo had a blast here - I was surprised at how many things he found to play with here, from the sandbox with monster trucks, to the tractor area, to the fire truck outside and the toddler room. I would totally bring him here often but the hours are a little problematic for us. His nap time usually starts anywhere from 11-12 and they don't open until 11 most days. He does much better in the mornings than in the afternoons in terms of mood and listening skills. I wish they could have at least one day a week where they opened at 9am for the little ones, but if not, then I guess we'll see if he's still into it after he drops his naps in the future.

Kids loved it! Staff very friendly with everyone and lots of activities to keep them busy for hours.

This place is awesome for little ones & very educational! However, this place looks very dusty not freshened daily. I don't think they wipe down tables or toys... a bit concerning if Covid still around..

Fantastic! Our 3 year old had a blast and learned a great deal from several of the exhibits.

This is a nice place for younger children. Lots of stuff for kids to play with to see how things work. Reasonably priced at $7 per person for all day with re entry. I'm excited to see what else they bring in to expand.

Took my son to this place for the first time and had our play date with a friend! Kiddies loved it and I would love to come back

Retired elementary school teacher here, and this is the best thing to happen to Merced's children in the thirty plus years I've lived here. Up front, it may look a little pricey but I bought an annual membership for my daughter's family (three adults and three kids; one seven and two fours) and it was paid for in three visits; the rest of the year is free. On our first visit, as I was talking with a staff member, my grandkids were bouncing from one activity to the next; completely engaged, and stayed that way for over two hours solid. We've been there three or four times a week since and the level of activity and engagement hasn't let up. I see them occupied with things I had no idea they were interested in. They've named it "...the play place...)All types of learning modalities and personalities are addressed, covering a wide swath of ages. I'm seeing a lot of positive socialization, it's completely self-driven AND IT'S FUN!. Looking forward to a lot of additional activities already on the books.

Great place place for kids to learn and explore different professions. They'll have a so much fun!
