My prop shaft came loose on deceleration and my prop came back and hit the rudder. The prop was badly damaged and Kevin couldn't fix it so he sold me a reconditioned prop that I've been running for years now. Honest guy with fair pricing.

We have been going to Kevin's prop shop for many years and they are good at what they do. I like that they are efficient and get your boat back as soon as possible. We have had props fixed and water pump changed and they have earned our business. Hard to find a decent boat shop out here so I am glad we found one. The only thing was the location since it is small and hard to maneuver in crowded conditions as there are other mechanic type of places around there so lots of cars, boats, etc. Price-wise it seems to be along the lines of other boat repair places ( it seems to cost a lot no matter where you go when you own a boat unfortunately!),so it isn't outrageous but fair.

Great service and knowledge. I was prepared to replace both my 1960 32 foot Chris Craft shafts, but Kevin had one made to match the good shaft and replaced the bad pitted one, saving me a good amount of money. Props balanced and new shaft bearings installed in a timely manner. I may go back for better props next year. I will go back for sure, if I ever need repairs again.

Do NOT take your boat here. We took our boat last summer for a transmission issue and less than two week after it was in the care of the shop our boat was vandalized. 4 rev wet sounds tower speakers gone along with the subs. The cut into the fiberglass to pull out the subs. The gas line was cut and the boat was thrashed. The shop didn't offer and still hasn't offer any assistance in compensation to rectify the theft. Due to this the boat was totaled and now we are left with 10k of a boat loan. They are still asking for an unforeseen amount for a removing the transmission. Good business practice you would think they would rectify by waiving the fee but instead are filing a lien. According to his past employees our boat was left out in an unsecured yard, security cameras miraculously didn't work. Convenient! Don't trust this shady shop with your valuable boat!

I was very impressed with the work and pricing. Took my boat in because the RPM was running high. Kevin was more then helfpul in evaluating the problem, pointing out other minor issues (had the trailer repaired and the past repairman didn't put something back where it should...not to mention charged me an arm and a leg to do it!), and getting our boat tip top shape for the summer. I felt confident in the work and was extremely pleased with the pricing. If you want reliable, honest work for unbeatable prices go to Kevin...
