Kay's Creations is my guilty pleasure. I try to catch them when they are either at the Mountain House Farmer's Market or the Tracy Farmer's Market. They are well known for their amazing macarons but they also offer lumpia, breakfast burritos and if you get lucky you might be able to try their Hawaiian plates.I'm a sucker for their cheeseburger lumpia, they are so crispy and the burger filling is cooked to perfection and super cheesy then drizzled with a "burger sauce" and green onions. Definitely the best cheeseburger lumpia that I've had. I like their macarons as well but the one that blew me away was the Dubai Pistachio Macaron, it's their take on the viral Dubai chocolate bars. These macarons did not disappoint, they were amazing. The customer service here is great!! I've always received a warm welcome every time that I've been there and the staff is super friendly. I definitely recommend trying them out.

Kay's has consistently been good for a while and this review is long over due! Not only do they have amazing macarons (the kind that are sold in stores around town!) but they have some ono hawaiian inspired and other cultural mashups that are sure to make your mouth water! Here's some of our faves:Quesabirria lumpia with consume sauce to dip them in!Loco Moco burrito with gravy to dip it in! Garlic shrimp plate Hawaiian chicken plate Sometimes they have specials that are preorder so make sure you follow their IG to get the latest and greatest! They are now at Mountain house (Sundays) and Tracy (Saturdays) Farmers markets! Service is always amazing and I love that it's a local family owned business where you get a smile from everyone! You can tell they do it with love!

I recently tried the Hawaiian Plate which is chicken, rice and macaroni. It was bomb! The macarons are delicious too!

Ordered macarons for my baby shower - I had one delicious fruity pebble macaron because the rest were annihilated at the party! LolKay is very nice and easy to talk to! Payment done on venmo which is always a plus!

Working with Kay was an absolute joy from beginning to end. We are having an Under The Sea 80's Prom theme for my 35th birthday party. I asked her to make me these gorgeous starfish and shell macaroons and she absolutely came through! Kay is easy to communicate with and very responsive and extremely pleasant.I just had to sample them before I serve them at my party tomorrow. My husband just picked them up and brought them home and not only are they gorgeous, they are absolutely delicious! Thank you so much, Kay! I highly recommend and will definitely call her again!

Macaron - An Almond, Meringue based Sandwich CookieMacaroon - A Coconut Cookie often dipped in Chocolate.Know your Pastries people!!Although Karen (aka Kay) bakes out of her home in Mountain House you can also find these Macarons at Cornology in the Great Mall in Milpitas, The Cupcake Shoppe in Hayward and QQcup in Newark.. Special custom orders are taken but due to being incredibly busy at present that option has been put on hold for the time being.Living in Mountain House I have been lucky enough to purchase directly from Kay after having extra Macarons after supplying the 3 stores and they come in a great variety of flavors - Green Tea KitKat, Fruity Pebbles, Oreo, Maple Bacon to name a few.Where the flavors are really very good I would say overall the Cookies themselves are closer to a 3.5 but have rounded up to a 4. Reason for this is that of the 12 flavors I had 5 were hollow. This happens when air bubbles form in the batter or they're not left to sit long enough before being baked. I know first hand how frustrating this is through baking them myself. Sucks.Prices vary depending on which of the 3 store's you go to, they're $2 in The Cupcake Shoppe and I hear they're $1.70 in QQcup or if you're lucky enough to get a batch direct they're $15 for a dozen.

Great customer service, fast response and macarons are simply delicious. Tried many macarons but Kay's Creations are the best!!! Lots of flavors to chose from and if you have a flavor in mind she will create or for you. Highly recommend!Side note: She doesn't have her own store, just collaborates with The cupcake shoppe in Hayward and POP in Tracy.

If you're looking for flavorful macarons and perfect texture, you've found the right person! Years ago while living in Mountain House a friend let me try a 3 day old macaron. Let me tell you that this scrumptious treat tasted like it was baked fresh that day! From then on I was hooked! She's the real deal! I love the consistency of her service and variety of ever changing flavors! Her production is swift and her precision is impeccable. Well deserved 5 stars!!

I've had Kay's creations on several occasions so I knew exactly who to go to for an element on my wedding dessert bar. Karen was so easy to work with and absolutely accommodating to my request. I wanted them to match my wedding colors of mint, navy, ivory, and gold and they worked out absolutely perfectly with flavors of strawberry, fruity pebbles, Oreo, and tiramisu to match our cutting cake! These macarons are not like any other I've had which can be too sweet or a bit chalky. These bad boys are make with ganache and not buttercream (mouth watering thinking about it). My favorites are definitely strawberry and fruity pebbles, the flavors are seriously money. I was sad (but happy) these flew off the table and I didn't get a chance to have any on the wedding day, so will definitely be placing another order (and keeping them all for myself) when I'm back in the Bay!Hands down THE best macarons I've had. HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

To be honest I didn't get to taste one bit of the 50 pcs of macaroons my brother's girlfriend ordered for me.All I know was it was gone in a second. All my guest loved them. They looked delicious and beautiful. They were such a hit! The Minnie Mouse macaroons looked too cute to eat. Hopefully next time we order I can actually have one for myself.
