Kabul Express Halal Restaurant

Even if the place from outside is not that lucrative enough , but their food is delicious, also their Inside ambience is quite decent.Despite being limited on food options, food is really amazing.I love to try food from different cuisine, and this place surprised me. Their chapli kabob, bolani, mantu are a must try. I will definitely come here to try more from the options especially their kabuli pulav. Price wise it's a win-win too.The service was great again. Everyone was polite and I did not wait for very long for the food.

Yummy Afghan food - we stopped by on our way to Tahoe. We tried the Qabuli palow (rice with meat and carrots/raisins), potato bolanee (they were out of leek), and my son got a halal pepperoni pizza.

Hala food is a plus. Tried the chicken on rice, which was surprisingly really good, and I would order again. Even more surprising was that the falafel was different than what I'm used to, but I really liked it and would order again.Plan to try the pizza next time, which I was also surprised they had and kept seeing people come in to pick up a pizza.

It was late. I was at the hospital with my grandmother. I was super hungry and everything was starting to close when I stumbled across this diner. I ordered the Kabuli through DoorDash for pickup to save some time. WOW! My tastebuds did a happy dance with every bite! What a delicious meal!I highly recommend Kabul Express for their delicious flavors and fast, friendly service. I will definitely be back for a second helping!

Absolutely amazing , fast , and kind service the mantu , chicken over rice and baloney is amazing

I have driven by this restaurant at least 1000 times, never thought to have lunch here.Came here today, glad I went! Got the chicken over the rice, and it was delicious. Only complaint is that they don't give you enough bread. For the two of us, we just got two small pieces.I'll definitely be back!

We called ahead and ordered a few items for pick-up. Man on the line was helpful in answering any questions we had. We ended up having to wait an extra 15 minutes once we got there. The challow (white rice) was not cooked thoroughly, needed at least another 15-20 minutes. Their chicken kabob on bread with onions was flavorful and tender and the only item everyone equally enjoyed. Qabili (seasoned rice with lamb) was just ok. But again rice could have been cooked longer. We also ordered bolani, unfortunately no options for plain potato or a mild version. The filling was heavily seasoned and more of a desi flavor than your traditional afghan bolani. Food overall was ok, but there are better options for afghan food in the area.

Great food but doesn't really seem like they appreciate people dining in. Possibly due to lack of wait staff and small operation. Otherwise very pleasant and tasty.

Chicken Shawarma is so good that I wanna order another one. Customer service was excellent. Really nice people.
