No special sauces, very slow service. The wired sauce and "humus" in the corner had no flavour. The chicken was tender though.

Ordered food from here through door dash with a friend and the chicken kabobs lacked flavor, 4 chicken pieces that were size of chicken nuggets .. it's just okay and definitely not worth the amounts they are charging.

Came in for a burger ended up getting a chicken burger and fries meal. The food was actually delicious and different. The fries are shoestring and get cold fast tho. They forgot my soda and even claimed they had already given me a sprite. After some back and forth I got my drink but my food was cold by then. The chef continuously picked at his bottom while we argued about my drink. I did not finish eating. The female laughed continuously like me being upset was entertaining. Hard pass. 15$ was not worth it.

I was downtown and stumbled across this place tucked on a side street by the courthouse. I love gyros and since gyros is in the name I figured they must be good. The restaurant is clean and inviting. I already knew what I was there for so I didn't have any questions. They are on the pricey side I spent about $17 for the beef gyro combo they also have chicken and lamb but the lamb cost more and I think I paid $1 more for beef. When the gyro was wrapped up it looked a little small but it really was the perfect size for me. The fries were huge and fresh, they don't have fountain drink just canned. The gyro was very delicious and there was the perfect amount of every thing in the gyro, the beef was tender. If I'm around here again I would return.

Place was surprisingly empty. New tables are inside. We ordered fries to share (3 of us). Ordered 2 #9 beef gyro. Chicken kabob was a little over cooked just a little. Overall the food was delicious. Everything was on one point. Service was ok. Will be back. A must try

We were pleasantly surprised with the service and food provided at this location. We ordered a chicken shawarma plate and salad. Both were amazingly delicious and nicely presented. The wait time was short. The vegetables were very fresh and the chicken was perfectly seasoned. We have been to this location multiple times and will continue to come back often.

I don't know what happened to this place but it's not the same. I paid for extra meat and it definitely wasn't. The rice was disgusting and not seasoned the way it used to be. If they get the other people who were cooking before back then I'll return.

This place kinda suck! Not really sure what those good reviews are all about.. first of all the place's vibe is worst than a subway, then the food. We got the gyro plates. I'm not even sure it was meat. Looks like a synthetic blend of some sort.. think dog treats with spices. Isn't cheap either.Won't be coming back for sure

If you are unfortunate enough to have to eat at Kabob & Gyro House, be sure to check your receipt before you pay. We were each overcharged for what was supposed to be a $2.50 add-on combo for a drink and side salad. Instead, we were each charged $3.50 for a side salad and $1.50 for a bottle of water. They do not have fountain drinks so you have to purchase your beverages in cans or bottles. When I went to ask about the $5 overcharge, the person behind the counter didn't speak English fluently enough to help me. OK, no problem. Maybe the food will be good and I'll eat the extra cost on top of the $3 tip we gave them. First the salad came. Impressive! The vegetables were fresh, crisp, and cold--a welcomed bite on a hot afternoon. I loved the thinly sliced Persian cucumbers. It was also dressed perfectly with a tasty vinaigrette salad dressing and feta cheese. They didn't skimp on kalamata olives either. This gave me hope. Until my "Beef Kebob Sandwhich" arrived. My first bite was all pita bread. So I opened it up to look under all the sauce and lettuce. I've seen bigger portions of meat in my cat's litterbox. What was especially disappointing was that I ordered beef, as listed on the menu. Not lamb. Not beef mixed with lamb. What I ended up with was a miniscule portion of spongy, gamey lamb that tasted the opposite of fresh. I actually spit it out. I ate the two slices of tomato and left the rest. My husband got the "Chicken Gyro Sandwhich" which was absolutely nothing like any gyro we've ever tasted, anywhere. It consisted of tiny, cut-up chunks of what looked more like tandoori chicken with its red color and lightly charred exterior. The spices were weird. It brought to mind Lawry's Seasoned Salt, which made my tongue send a WTF? message to my brain. Hard pass on this one. I might not ever live this awful experience down because I picked this joint. My husband didn't even want to go to downtown Stockton, but I talked Kabob & Gyro House up saying how good it looked online. He will be riding this for months--perhaps years.
