JPs Reel Adventures

I have been fishing my whole life and nothing could have prepared me for my trip on the River with captain JP! I met captain John just before sunrise and immediately felt comfortable and welcomed! We instantly were discussing our love for fishing and sports in general. Other guided trips I had been on we would catch 3 - 6 fish total. With captain JP our boat caught 54 and I caught over 20 personally! This is more fish than I have caught ever! Not only was I catching but I was being taught techniques from knot tying to bait presentations. The boat is beautiful and has a smooth jet engine which allows it to go in shallow water and big water alike with comfortable ride. PCaptain John was a middle school teacher and his patience and kindness showed the whole time. He is better priced and catches more fish than any other guide I can find. I will definitely be taking my friends out soon for another epic day with captain John!

"Fish on!" was the coined phrase for the day! My son and I chartered Jon's services to go Striper fishing in the Delta and we had a phenomenal time catching fish. My 23 year old son was a little apprehensive about going fishing for the day as the last few times we had gone fishing on party boats, we weren't very successful and the captain didn't seem to mind whether we were on fish or not. This was not the case with Jon. Jon made every attempt to find fish and to catch fish!Jon was very knowledgeable and very helpful when it came to fixing the occasional snag or making adjustments to our lines to get more hook-ups!Striper fishing is unlike most other fishing I've done. These fish can hit hard and put up a great fight...even the undersized ones! My son and I will definitely be using Jon's services in the future!

A fishing trip with Jon on the Napa River was the best ever. He was a great guide and we caught 24 big striped bass. It was fun and a GREAT family day! I had a great time out on the water today with this company. I wanted to take my nephew out who has never fished before. He had a great first time experience, and is excited to go fishing again. The fishing guide made us feel very comfortable and secure on the water. Would definitely book again!
