Jimmy T's Catering

We used Jimmy T's to cater a party. He called us a week before to confirm/ revise the menu and the number of attendees (we increased the number by 20%). He arrived when he said he would (45 minutes before party time) and had everything set up on time. Our guests raved about the food! He stayed and monitored the food and drinks. He brought his own sponges to wipe down our counters afterwards! Several guests mentioned the catering ! One caveat - we ended up with a ton of food left over (which he boxed for us). As it was an afternoon party (so no real meal served) I suspected that people wouldn't eat a lot and I was right. I'm glad we didn't run out of food, but I think you can safely under-estimate. Highly recommended!

This past weekend Randy Tilton catered our party. He was prompt and the communication was top notch. His food was amazing and every single person at the party raved about the delicious entrees and appetizers. His staff were considerate and arrived when they said they would. I highly recommend Randy for your next event, so glad we found him.

We hired this company for a birthday party, outside in 110 degree weather (oops)! JD was the most amazing server, friendly, helpful and working non-stop, oftentimes going above and beyond his role to help out with whatever we needed. He brought to-go containers for leftovers which as great. The food was AMAZING, displayed beautifully and no one had a single complaint. They even offered to provide large mister fans to help with the heat! We will definitely be ordering again soon.

A big shout out to Jimmy T's Catering! They catered my daughter's baby shower and were just plain awesome. Daniel, the on site person, arrived promptly and delivered the food without a hitch. The dishes were amazing, the cilantro shrimp being a favorite! Fresh and flavorful ingredients were used to make this catering experience a memorable one! Thanks to Jimmy T and crew!

Jimmy T's catering is amazing and him & the team are very personable. While planning our wedding, we had done a tasting and the food was the best! I've worked in the food service business in the past and his creations are top of the line quality, fresh & flavorful. When we had to reschedule our wedding due to covid in 2020, then the Caldor fire 3 days before our wedding in 2021, he was very compliant, friendly, accommodating and helpful. I cannot wait to schedule him for another event that we hold in the future! Thanks Jimmy & team!

Jimmy catered my wedding in September 2018 in Nevada City and he and his crew were fantastic! The food was unreal, especially considering that it was a buffet for 65 people. Jimmy is so kind and truly wants to do his part to make your special day as seamless as possible. He understands budget concerns and is very realistic with you about what stuff you could cut to save money -- he doesn't try to sell you on everything just to make more money for himself! I also love that he can plan well enough to not have any waste. We had a bit of entrees leftover at the end of the night but nothing crazy. And pro-tip: his appetizers WILL run out because they're so delicious so make sure someone grabs appetizer plates for the bride and groom ahead of time. His staff was so friendly and helpful, we hired a bartender through him as well to help pour wine for our guests. The wait staff also helped move all of our ceremony chairs to the dinner tables and setup our donut bar in the middle of dinner so they didn't sit out for too long. I honestly barely remember seeing them all because everything was so seamless and natural and the setup and cleanup was very non-disruptive. You can't go wrong hiring Jimmy for your events!

My husband and I recently hired Jimmy and his team to cater our wedding. The food was AMAZING!! Everyone complimented us/Jimmy on his meatballs, bruschetta, and chicken dish (I believe it was the grilled chicken). Jimmy made the food-piece of the wedding a breeze - he listened to our concerns, allowed us to make multiple changes to the menu, and helped us find ways to keep costs fairly low (which is important if you're funding your own wedding). We are SO happy we went with Jimmy T's! All of our friends will be using him for future weddings/events. Stop wasting your time with other caterers - Jimmy T's is literally THE best and most affordable (trust me...I did my research and had PLENTY of meetings with other businesses) caterer in the greater Sacramento area. Give him a call!

I hired this company for my sister's bridal shower on May 20, 2023. I found them on line, contacted them for a quote and that same day I received a response. They gave me a list of foods and within a couple of days we had "tweaked" it to what I thought would be most appealing to the guests. On the day Jimmy sent a server to help set up and then to tear down the food and plates. This gentlemen was amazing. He arranged the food in such a pleasing way, and all the guests enjoyed the food. My husband ( who was not allowed at the shower, haha) asked me to save him some of the meatballs we had. :) I was able to do so because the company provided to go containers - so thoughtful. I will use this company again when I have need and I highly recommend them to anyone looking for a catering company. They helped make the bridal shower a great success.
