Came here with a friend after I had heard great things from others about this winery. BEAUTIFUL and welcoming venue. All employees were incredibly friendly. My friend and I each got a glass and then went out under a large tent that had several large heaters. Being that it was February it was still rather chilly. A small band was just finishing their set when we arrived so we missed them but from what I understand, there are lots great concerts here in the summer in the grove. Wine is great and so is the ambience.I will be back!!

We decided to come check this place out after our Costco run. We had all of our Costco items that we bought in the car but we figured why not LOL. I'm so glad we did. What a cute winery with a very laid back atmosphere. We didn't expect to actually wine taste but we figured why not! Lol Again, I'm so glad we did! They have such phenomenal dessert wines that we decided to become members--dessert wine club members! The staff is very friendly and very helpful. Elizabeth is who worked with us. She was so nice, knowledgeable about the wines and the estate, and just completely awesome! It's a beautiful ranch-style winery. Ladies, you don't have to worry about getting dolled up. It's a very laid back place. I absolutely love it! They even have a pretty garden area and I believe two green houses. They have a pretty good sized outdoor area where they have a stage for live music concerts. I'm excited and happy we decided to become members. If you're ever in the Lodi area, go visit this beautiful estate.

The service is horrible! This was our 3rd time here in 3 years because each time the service is so horrible it takes me that long to want to try it again. So 9 of us walked in yesterday to get a few bottles to sit down and share and enjoy the band. We all walked in smiling and happy and we were not greeted, had to wait a bit for someone to show up. Lady showed up and immediately started being rude - so what do you guys wanna do. I say well we would like some wine and to sit and enjoy the music, she goes well have you already been drinking and I'm like WHAT we just got here. She goes no I mean today super rudely, and I was like why! We had a glass at dinner but non of us were drunk by any means or behaving erratically. I mean myself and my friends are in our 50's, I think we all stood there with our mouths wide open because we were so shocked at how rude she was being. Then she was so tacky saying well I just had to clean up throw up and I'm not doing that again. We are all like well we didn't need to hear about that! Then we say we would just like some wine. And she says well this is the cheapest one you should get that! We were so astonished we said um no we would prefer a nice bold red instead. Super rude comments from her as she passed us glasses and we paid for the wine. I woke up today still mad about her poor behavior, her name is Elizabeth. Be aware and try to avoid her if you can. Horrible representation of Jessie's Grove. Because I love the grounds, the fires, and the Harvest Host option. Will probably be a long while before we try here again.

DAY 2 STOP 6PREFACEWHO KNEW???? Unassuming Winery that does more than just wine. In fact, the day we visited, they had a CONCERT in the GROVE for 1500 people and the tickets ($80/person) WERE SOLD OUT... Okay, on to the Winery. Here is my story:One of our scheduled stops was Jessie's Grove Winery. We were welcomed by Jonell who offered us Jessie's Bubbles (aka sparkling wine) which chased some pinks (Rose) and the hearty reds (Zin in this case). We had the pleasure of meeting the winemaker himself Greg Burns. He is part of the family in the 5th generationThe tasting was 4+, the service was 5+ the venue was 4+ Next time I visit, I will time it to attend the Concert in the Grove

My husband and I were driving through Lodi and decided to stop by here - first time! We came in for a tasting and left as new wine club members, haha. The lovely Sophia poured for us and she was just so welcoming and personable. She told us all about the wines and the property. We really enjoyed our time here and the wines were also delicious. The property is also beautiful! We left with three bottles (Steel Chardonnay, Malbec, and one of the Rosés) and look forward to our first quarterly wine club shipment.

Great place to relax and have a glass of wine and listen to music. They have many concerts over the summer at night time so it's cool which makes it really nice and if you have a tent or trailer, you could even stay there and they serve you breakfast in the morning on Sunday

We love this place. We've traveled to Lodi from the Bay Area for the past two Thanksgivings and visited Jessie's three times in those trips. The grounds are beautiful, spacious, thoughtfully laid out. The staff is consistently friendly and helpful. Tasting fee is $15 and waived with a bottle purchase. The wines are lighter and drier in style than my preference, but beautiful on the nose, and they have some beautiful dessert wines that I think rival Ridge. The main factor that will keep me coming back, though, is how great this place is for families with younger kids -- they have so much space to run and play, and the flower garden in the back section of the grounds is just gorgeous for photos.

I visited this winery for the first time over the weekend, and I found it to be a beautiful venue. We were greeted by Elizabeth, who was very friendly and welcoming. We enjoyed a wine flight and ended up purchasing some wine. She also shared information about their Summer Concerts! I can't wait to return for more good wine and good times.
