One of the best parks in ELK grove when it comes to the play structure. Unique and so many cool things to climb on. My kids loves it and I had fun too. It's breezy and somewhat secluded. No bathrooms FYI.

Whenever I put my foot on the pedal ( referring to riding my bike ) I feel like a modern day explorer. Which direction am I going to today. East ? West ? South ? North ? Living here in Elk Grove for more than 20 years there is still a lot of unchartered territories to explore and to discover new things and different places.Jeannie Womack Park is a prime example ! Built in the year 1993, this park is 4.1 Acres in size and is part of the Cosumes Park & Recreation District. Located in the Laguna subdivision of Elk Grove. Named after Jeannie Womack, who truly believed " making your community a better place to live by being involved and participate in its growth. For more than 30 years she coordinated almost every aspect of the Elk Grove Western Festival. In past years this park was the central meeting place for the neighborhood watch programs, neighborhood potlucks, national night-out, plus so much more. The park has a soccer field, two tennis courts, One/half basketball court, playground with slides, climbing structures, and shaded picnic area with BBQ. Perfect for family gatherings ! This park is the heart of the neighborhood and as such deserves "4 Stars"
