J & D Donuts

Nice staff. Very happy with these donuts. After finding our fave Stockton shop I wanted to see if lodi had something just as good and they do.Fluffy and crisp frosting, good dough, I don't feel oily or yucky after. I am a fan. I only eat chocolate frosted rounds and bars. I'm going to try maple and glazed next time! I wish they made their customers wear masks. I have a procedure coming up and I have to test negative. The customer in there was just talking and coughing all over the place .

I was craving donuts the other day and headed out just after 6 am to the shop near my house but there were so many people there I could not find a spot to park. I continued down the road and saw J&D just a few blocks away. There were also a good amount of people there but they have a much larger parking lot so I was easily able to find a spot.The shop was well lit and has some tables inside. There were a few gentlemen having coffee and donuts. The display was full of freshly made donuts but I would recommend coming early because it was before 6:30 and some of the favorites were already dwindling. The staff was attentive and grabbed everything I asked for quickly. With tip I paid $14 for 7 donuts. The fritters were a little oily but still delicious and there were no complaints about any of the others. The raspberry filled and old-fashioned maple were delicious! I would definitely come back here again.

Always serve with a smile the staff is always smiling even very early in the morning donuts are fresh and delicious definitely a place to try and make your own decisions

We came right when they opened at 4am. Great prices. Especially since the donuts were fresh and delicious. However, I also ordered a blueberry muffin that was not fresh at all. It was actually moldy. Otherwise still had a good experience lol. Just be careful if you go right when they open, as they might serve you stuff from days before.

I love their donuts! They definitely have the best Apple fritters! All the donuts are fresh and not dry like some donut shops. I actually lived here about 20 years or more ago and used to go to J & D Donuts and I was super happy they are still here lol. I couldn't wait to get one of their Apple fritters . So deliciously sinful lol. I live supporting local businesses!

They always have fresh donuts in the morning. Been going here for years and the same great taste. The staff and owner are very friendly as well.

If I could give this donut shop, less than one star I would and It's not for the donuts. The donuts are very good. Unfortunately , The service is also very bad. We were served by a lady who was extremely impatient, kept ringing up our order before we had completed it. The thing is we were going to get a lot more donuts but felt so rushed. But what really made my wife in myself angry was when a man in a wheelchair came in. She looked perturbed that he was in the shop and directed her coworker to "deal with him". I don't usually write reviews, but I feel like I had to this time . JD Donuts I'm staying with Star Donuts were they have respect for the customers.

The donuts are ok. The staff is rude. The owner watches customers from her undisclosed location and picks and chooses which customers get to stay and singles out those she wants to get rid of and has her staff try to humiliate and intimidate them to get them to leave. There is a time limit for those that (don't speak Spanish, or not of Latin descent, are quiet??). Overall, not a pleasant experience. Particularly for those mentioned above. Would not recommend.

Donut are just OK nothing special. I like the maple bars at Save Mart better and the price is better too.
