International Bazar

I love all of the specialty food items. Just picked up son really good blue cheese. The lady that works there is very nice. I love to get the mint yogurt drink. Many many cool items to choose from.

The place is always clean, and always organized logically! The owner has always been so pleasant and polite. Greets everyone and is helpful. I took a photo of the bulk section and each container is super clean. Definitely one of the best.

Don't stand behind their products. Bought something on the explicit recommendation of cashier/owner and when it was not as described he would not exchange. Something said "smoked" on the package and we questioned that because that kind of product shouldn't taste like that. She said won't it taste like barbecue and he said no it doesn't it gives off a nice aroma. Well we tried it just because of that and it tasted very smoked, like barbecue. He would not return or exchange even though we wouldn't have even bought it if he hadn't said what he said. I understand if he gave out general opinions (like oh I prefer this bread to this) and we just didn't like it (that's fair, everyone has different tastes), but this was something very specific that he gave clarity on. Terrible customer service.

Although the shop is small, everything is very neat and organized. I went in for sour cherry syrup, Greek yogurt, and pita bread. I was able to grab all of my items and was in and out in less than five minutes. The gentleman who assisted me was very warm and welcoming. I will definitely be back.

I just found this little gem in Turlock and let me say, if you need Middle Eastern food, this is THE place! Theres a lot of Lebanese cooking in my house and this place has all the things we can never find. From grape leaves to blocks of feta, we found a LOT of stuff we just had to buy. The place is relatively small and everything is packed in tight, but who cares. I saw very many locals shopping here too. I can't wait to go back.

I love shopping at International Bazar, not just for the reason that it has everything I need for my Assyrian Grocery, but that it's provided with care and in a professional way.I love that it's always kept up with cleanliness and that the products are new and the produce is fresh.Tatiana, and Edmon (the owners) are truly a very kind and nice couple. And Maryam the helper is also a great addition to the team :)Just visit and see for yourself.

This place use to be good and the male co-owner was kind. The place is small and they have narrow spacing between shelves and pastry tables. If there just a handful of people there you will be bumping into people or things. Today, my 80 something year old aunt, who walks everywhere in town and carries groceries home, was shopping there. She moves to get out of a persons way, as to not bump them, she falls and lands on a small cake. The owner sees this.. and what does he do, he doesn't help her or ask how she's doing or anything that requires a heart. Instead, he tells her, you ruined the cake and asks, how am I to sell this now. It was not a special cake or expensive one for that matter. We're talking a generic cake under $20, most likely under $10. I may be wrong, but this is not how you treat human beings who have been shopping at your store for decades. Our Assyrian community takes these things to heart and when you treat people like this, people will spend their money elsewhere.Had you shown her any compassion, you would have surely have been compensated for your silly cake. Instead you took the low class approach and just lost more customers. I hope you consider these words, the next time greed guides you, for it is the people who have kept your store open all these years, with their money.

I have memories of going to international bazar ever since my childhood. I went there again this morning, and although ownership has changed a few times over the years it's still feels exactly the same every time. If you're ever running low on anything from lavash to rose water or simply can't wait to hear the newest Black Cats or Edmond CD, be sure to try this place first.
