I absolutely love this school. This is my first time having my daughter in ballet and she has learned so much already. This is the perfect setting if you want your child to learn the fundamentals and to be trained correctly. From what I can tell, all the parents feel the same way. Their instructor is GREAT with the dancers. She communicates with them and will provide feedback to parents regarding their child's development. I'm looking forward to my daughter being with them for a long time

If there's one thing I love about this place it's how dedicated the teachers are. Mr. Alexei and Ms. Ronna have such a true passion for ballet and teaching. My daughter had no prior dancing experience and has only been in their class for about 10 months and in such a short time, she's learned so much. The classes are small so the teachers can focus on ALL their students and provide quality instruction. The teachers genuinely care about their students and their passion for the performing arts is inspiring. There are dance studios all over town but we choose to drive 21 miles farther because IBTI is the best! Having a great tasting room just below the studio is just icing on the cake

Called to get info and was yelled at over the phone for calling (during business hours) because she was teaching a class.....uh ok. Decided to try the school anyway as I had a friend whose daughter attended. Ms Ronna, altho very rude to adults in general, really seemed lovely with the little girls and kept me there for purely that. She was very kind and patient with anyone under 5. However her respect for adults is nil. I watched her berate a parent (who interrupted class but still...there's a kind way to ask someone not to interrupt) and she completely humiliated her. Well I guess I was next. On the second day of class, I was video-ing my 3 year old with my phone and was SCREAMED at by Ms Ronna. I quickly apologized, said I had no idea, and put my phone away. She continued to berate me at length in front of everyone. I said ok ok I'm sorry I didn't know. Then the second class ended, while everyone is still there, she decided yet again to go on and on about how I did something wrong. I had had enough of being treated like a kicked dog for a simple mistake so I just said, "How would I know that it's not ok? You don't have a sign up and you never explained it beforehand." She replied, "ITS CALLED A LAWSUIT." Ok fine. Liability. I get it. No problem. But don't talk to me like a child. I'm not about to give this woman my money. I can take my 3 year old anywhere else in town without being abused.

Love this ballet school! The owners and teachers are so professional and helpful. Classes are structured and the kids actually learn something. Highly recommend if you want you child to actually learn technique and style.
