I called the hotel to ask if I could either talk with security or a manager and I was put on hold.
I almost thought we came back to the wrong place because during the day the sign is different from the night sign.....
I finally realized they JUST DON'T CARE that one of their hotel guests was robbed.
Stained Sofa

There were bed bugs on our bed!!! My kids were sleeping on a damn bed infested with bed bugs!!!
Getting a little swim before bedtime
Loud traffic - which isn't the hotel's fault. But if you have great hearing, avoid.

Nice remodeled location, but definitely in a "hood" area, lol. I booked this hotel thinking it was close to Fairfield, but my fault for not checking the map and realizing it was a 20 minute drive. Price is convenient and staff were friendly, just beware of your surroundings.

Booked through Priceline, hotel was so nasty and in the ghetto mold in the room says remodeled, so far from it. Did not feel safe could hear people upstairs all night and people outside. Staff was rude, we only stayed for one night we were told would not get refund for second night, (we stayed elsewhere second night) with nasty bedding and all I don't think they changed it from previous people(gross ) do not stay here !! Cancel if you booked !! I saw it had very little stars I really should have taken that into thought,

We were unfortunately victims of a crime here today. We stayed at the hotel last night and spent the day at Six Flags Discovery Kingdom. Since we were checking out, we left our suitcases in the car. The hotel was clean and we are not from the area so we assumed it would be safe since it is right across from the park. When we returned from the park at about 6pm, we found our car window smashed and our suitcase stolen. Many valuables in it :(. The hotel security camera was not facing the cars, even though the car was only a few feet from the hotel lobby. We called the police and they said they could not go through the footage to see if anyone was seen walking away in the parking lot. They can't do anything about it. One officer informed us this is NOT a safe area and for that reason I cannot ever recommend anyone staying here. There was no manager on duty to help us. No daytime security. The lady at the front desk was kind and helped by calling the police but had many people checking in and couldn't help us with anything else.We learned a very hard lesson today. Update: I called the hotel later in the evening to ask if the security could go over the video footage...I was put on hold for 18 minutes before I realized THEY JUST DIDN'T CARE! They don't care about the safety of their hotel guests. NEVER heard back from them. Stay at your own Risk! There was only one person working the front desk, no manger on duty no daytime security and the breakfast was so bad that it's not worth your time going in there. We WILL NEVER return to this awful hotel!!!

Wanting a cheap hotel alternative to the place in Napa and Sonoma, we opted for this Best Western in American Canyon. The rate wasn't bad at $64 a night via Priceline. I thought it was a good value. Our double queen room was clean and spacious and overlooked their heated pool and hot tub. Even in early October it was warm enough to go swimming during the day. They had a complimentary breakfast every morning consisting of coffee, juice, muffins, and bagels. Laundry facilities are on the first floor close to the lobby in a small room with one washer and one dryer. Each load is $1.50. There was free wifi in the room but the signal was inconsistent and weak most of the time. Most of the staff, save for one girl who worked there the afternoon we checked in, was nice and always greeted us with a smile. The drive to Napa is about half an hour with traffic, which was bumper to bumper in the afternoons. I'd consider staying there again in the future. It's also about half a mile from Six Flags.

This place blows. Damn near $400 for a complete lack of customer service, had to change rooms at the last minute because we "had 1 too many guests", complimentary breakfast was absurdly ridiculous, no selection whatsoever, smelled like weed and cigarettes down the hall, paper thin walls and the front desk clerk was about as enthusiastic as a government worker.Next time, we'll pay extra for a better place

my boyfriend and I came here for a quick getaway and to enjoy some time in Six Flags, thankful we relied on reviews from booking.com and google to decide on staying here. We enjoyed ourselves quite a bit. loved the shuttle to and from the park saves us $25. we loved the hot tub, we stay in a lot of hotels and usually have a more than warm experience but never hot, but the hot tub here was good and hot we didn't want to leave! king bed room was spacious and includes a pull out mattress which duly noted for future trips, good to share costs with friends. the staff was very friendly we will definitely be back. only four stars because: we did not take advantage of the continental breakfast it was too early and we wanted to sleep in before our trek back home. when we were ready to kick back and watch a movie in our room with snacks the vending machines take cash only and they have no shop of their own so we had to go to the sketchy gas station across the street

Thank you to my front desk clerk You made my trip better than it would have been. After having checked in and then finding out my car would not start to move into a parking space. I had to call a tow truck to help. He gave me ample time to wait for the tow driver and move my car. He helped me order pizza and helped me order some pizza from a local pizza place.

I don't normally leave reviews on Yelp, BUT in this case I HAVE to share our horrible stay here at Best Western Inn & Suites at Discovery Kingdom. My boyfriend planned a nice little getaway for this kids and I, and booked a night at Best Western. We arrived a little before 3 and they were able to give us a room on the spot, sweet! We put our stuff in the room relax for a few minutes before we head over to Six Flags. Everything seemed okay, not too shabby. We go to the park for a couple of hours come back to our room to go swimming, it was nice. We came back to our room get the kids changed, we put on a movie and just relax. Now, after my kids and boyfriend had fallen asleep, I just couldn't. So, I get up to move my daughter to the middle of the bed, so she wouldn't fall in the middle of the night, and once I pick her up and I see this little bug. So, I just flick it off thinking no biggy, it's so small maybe an ant. A few minutes pass by and my daughter wakes up a little fussy, so I sit up with with her to try and calm her and put her back to sleep. So as I am rocking he, while sitting on the bed, I just happened to look on the bed, and what do I see, 2 more bugs crawling around. At this point I am already disturbed, so I wake my boyfriend and I let him know there are bugs crawling around on the bed. As I show him and take a closer look, I notice the bugs are red. I get myself and the kids off of the bed and walk around to the other side of the bed and what do you know, there were A TON more red bugs crawling all around the bed!!! OMG it was disgusting!!! I lift the pillows and BAM theres these 2 huge bugs along with the little tiny bugs we are looking at!! BED BUGS! EFFING BED BUGS!! My kids were sleeping on a bed infested with bed bugs!!!!!! I am BEYOND angry and disgusted!!! My boyfriend walks over to the front desk, since we were on the first floor, and tells the lady, I believe her name was Rhonda, and tells her she needs to come to our room to see what is going on. So she comes in and I am showing her, and she herself is beyond disgusted. As bad as I wanted to cuss her out and tell her off, that wouldn't be right of be because she is only the employee. She does not handle anything else but the front desk. She is very apologetic and tells us right away that she will give us all of our money back. And she did. Yea, we got our money back and it was simple from there. BUT the fact that we brought our kids to this hotel to enjoy some quality family time and just relax, to find out there are bed bugs everywhere, is beyond disturbing. I have to let it be known to others. This place has to be BEYOND dirty to have as many bed bugs as it did. And this was ONLY one bed. Imagine the others!!!!! DO NOT STAY AT THIS HOTEL!!!!!!!!! I will be posting PICTURES and VIDEOS for you to view. It is quite disturbing.

Super friendly and helpful at check in. Clean and nice. We are down for a wedding in Napa but didn't want to spend the $300.00 plus for a room at the resort. A few more minutes away and we saved literally a couple hundred dollars a night. Free breakfast with scrambled eggs, muffins, toast, make your own waffles, cereals, yogurt, fruit, fruit juices, milk, coffee & tea.Pool and spa, large rooms with little separate counter/cabinet area with microwave, sink, coffee maker, mini frig, another separate area with couch, chair, coffee table, and desk with chair separate by a half wall from bed. They even provide a shuttle to Six Flags if that is on your agenda. Definitely would stay hear again.

Very disappointed in this hotel. TheyPut a $200 hold on your credit carduntil you leave and charge you forridiculous things.like soiled towels.I guess they never heard of bleachand spot removers! I spent quite abit there as I was there almost threeweeks! This no way to treat a goodCustomer! They shouldn't take advantage of their customers this way!I won't use them again! There was a signin the lobby at the front desk listing about50 things they could charge you for.if I hadn't already paid through PricelineI wouldn't have stayed there!
