Great food, one of my favorite places ever! The service is great and the workers are very very kind. It was not too busy so it didn't take long to get seated. If you're looking for a dinner spot this is a perfect place to come!!!

We were looking forward to visiting this restaurant since we had a really good experience over two years ago. Service is much friendlier, but the food was a little hit or miss. Definitely a different chef from the last time.I would still recommend the butter chicken and saag paneer - solid dishes.Dishes I would be ok with-Pani PuriMango Lassi - the version they have here is a bit on the thinner side than we're used toLamb Biryani - The biryani is a little different than we're used to - some tomato in here?Assorted Naan - flavor was ok but they were on the soft side - might have needed some more time in the ovenBasil Cream - garlic, basil, cream - this was tasty, but seemed like it was a bit out of place with the other food. Also, I wouldn't recommend the shrimp as they didn't hold up well in the sauce (tiny and a little overcooked)Dishes that weren't my favorite-Bollywood Wings - for a deep fried wing, these have no texture (like a microwaved wing). Flavor is pretty good - like a sweet and sour sauce.Achari Chicken - unfortunately, lots of issues with this dish. It presents nicely as chicken and veggies on a sizzling plate. However, they first start with fully cooked chicken breast which goes onto the hot plate. Maybe if it was parcooked or they used dark meat, it might have survived, but the chicken was bone dry. Other issue was the veggies at the bottom were completely burned and inedible. Overall, the restaurant is still a pretty interesting place to visit due to their abundance in decor. The food didn't hit the spot this time, but we'd be willing to try it again.

Updating from my previous review. We decided to dine here again, and my experience is just about the same. First off, let me say the food is good. The aloo gajar matar veggie dish might be my favorite vegetarian dish I've had when it comes to Indian cuisine. The flavors are outstanding. The aloo tikki with channa was solid, the paneer dish was pretty good too. The issue came down to price. For four entrees, an appetizer, two side orders of rice, and one order of naan it came out to $90. We were a little taken aback when we heard the total as we were thinking it was going to be closer to the $60-70 range. When I got home I looked up the prices compared to Doordash and found some discrepancies. Some dishes we were charged more for, one less. Overall, it was about a $4 price difference compared to the Doordash prices (in the restaurant's favor). Not enough to make it a huge deal, but a little concerning that they didn't match.Many other restaurants will include rice if you're ordering an entree, but this place does not. That was another $8 tacked on to our meal. I may return in the future for the aloo gajar matar dish, but I feel like there are better values elsewhere in town for the other stuff. Like I said before, the food is good but I can get food that's just as good at other places in town for a lot less, plus I'll save by not having to buy the rice extra.

Food and service was great! Family owned restaurant with plenty of room, fun music, and eclectic decor. The saag paneer was creamy and tasty! Butter chicken sooo good. We also enjoyed the Bollywood salad, kids chicken wings & fries (excellent), an eggplant dish, and lentils. We tried the appetizer sampler and extra samosas, delicious! We just randomly stumbled upon this place and I'm so glad we did! Only one point food did take a bit of time to cook but everything was made fresh to order.

We ordered samosas, aloo tikki, butter chicken, lamb tikka masala, goat punjabi curry, 3 orders of rice (because rice is not included with the curry orders), garlic naan, and a mango lassi. Everything here is made to order, make sure you specify the spice level.Samosas and aloo tikki were delicious and tasted as expected. The butter chicken here was so good. The chicken was extremely tender and the sauce was rich. For the tikka masala and punjabi curry, we were unsure which was which. Both had a lighter sauce consistency, the goat however was extremely chewy. Garlic naan was good but I wish it was softer, it tasted similar to a flat bread because although it was very thin it was also dense. Mango lassi was delicious. The service was good, the food was delicious and the ambiance was nice! I just wish that rice was included in the order especially if you're dining in.

One of the worst Indian food in the area. Dont go for fancy and authentic decorations. The service is horrible . The food is tasteless. Overpriced for no reason.

I have mad appreciation for India 4 U. They are open much later than other restaurants in the area. So when I was driving to my home in Oakdale from SFO, I was supremely grateful that I had a stop where I could get a late meal to go and enjoy a drink in the full bar while my delicious meal was prepared. The atmosphere is totally unlike anything in the Central Valley or East Bay. It would be at home in a major city with its unique art and stylish vibe. I have been here for takeout several times and ordered their: Saag Paneer, Chicken Tikka Masala, rice, garlic naan, and vegetable samosas. I tend to order items medium spicy. Each has been the best that I've found within a reasonable drive of my home. I look forward to coming in and enjoying a full meal here in the super cool dining environment.

Thank you to my new friends for the explanations and recommendations during my visit. I love it when I try something new and it turns out so delicious! The spice level was perfect. The portion sizes generous and the help with the menu so considerate. I will definitely be back to try and find another new favorite dish. And the garlic naan is a must! Yummmm...

The food here is amazing. We had the Butter Chicken, the Lamb Tiki Masala, and the Chicken Tiki Masala. We also had the garlic cheese Naan. The service is amazing and the decorations are beautiful. We will definitely come back when we are in the area.

Wow!! This is amazing. There are soo many decorations and pictures on the walls. Nice and clean with excellent service. The food? It may have been the BEST in many years!! Butter chicken and chicken masala was delicious!! Hot from the oven and perfect.. The tandoori chicken came on a sizzling plate with sliced vegetables. Perfect. Add the garlic naan and you will be soo pleased!! Our new place for a perfect meal in Manteca.
