OMG.... what a feast.. I love BBQ and this is the place to come. We ordered the Corral Feast for two. We got a half of a chicken, two slabs medium rare tri-tip, a half rack of ribs, Bourbon bacon sausage, cooked beans, coleslaw, green salad and garlic bread... ALL for $28.00... what a deal on a BBQ. They are located at Amador Brewing Company every Friday from 2:00 to 8:00. Tom has been BBQing since 1968 and knows how to BBQ and Pam knows how to keep her customers happy...Lots and lots of food...Stop by on a Friday and have a great BBQ and a have an ice cold beer at Amador Brewing.

I love me some barbecue! We stumbled upon a space after doing some wine tasting down the street. They got our attention because we saw two gentlemen and coveralls out there grillingg it up. So we made a quick right into their parking lot!! As we walkes towards their area where they served barbecue plates you could smell the aroma in the air. They have outdoor seating and indoor seating. Where are they are barbecuing is also aware they will dish up your plate. The lady who served me kept on calling me baby. Love ber!! I told her if I'm your baby please serve me like I'm your baby because I was so hungry!! The portions for the pulled pork plate did not disappoint for $11. They have many condiments to pick from. My friend ordered the $16 tri-tip plate. She asked for rare and that's exactly what she got. This place was pretty packed for a Friday afternoon at 3 o'clock. Overall it was pretty good but could have more flavor. If you're a BBQ fan like me you know what I'm talking about when the flavor and smell is still on your fingers after you ate your meal!!

Incahoots catered our wedding in May at Amador Cellars. We wanted an informal bbq buffet and Pam and team really delivered. They brought the smoker to the wedding which was lots of fun and many people told me our food was the best wedding food they have ever had. On top of that their prices were more than fair compared to other caterers in the area. I knocked one star off for some staffing issues we had. I know Pam has a hard time finding good people in the area but unfortunately at the last minute we had to scramble to find our own servers which added some last minute stress.

The food was good however the service was rude. Choose some that smile or aren't rude and you might have something that works. I'm in the service industry and understand what service means. These people don't understand. At 6 :00 they run out of dinner items and it becomes the guests problem.

Stopped by the Amador Brewing Co recently and they were selling BBQ and other food. We decided to take a variety of things back to the place we were staying. We tried their famous Santa Maria BBQ - tri tip, beans, salad and garlic bread - and it was just so-so. My family is from the Santa Maria area and we grew up on much better fare whether we made it or bought it from one of the stands that populate parking lots on the weekends. Their tri tip was not overcooked, but it was very tough and lacked much in the way of seasoning and grill flavor. The beans were okay, but not great, and not the type normally served with SM bbq. So it was all ok, but a bit disappointing.

The food looked awesome. But the cook kept eating while cooking the food for customers. How unsanitary. And used no gloves what so ever. We just watched how others accepted and ate the food. Yuk!
