iFLY Indoor Skydiving - Sacramento

Five stars because the staff was amazing, my husband had a GREAT time, and the experience was enjoyable. Hubby gives it 5+ undeniable stars, 3.5 star experience FOR ME, taking *everything* into consideration. (I'm more of an adrenaline junkie.)Hubby & I wanted to do something a little different during our brief stay in Roseville and we could almost see this place from our hotel so iFly was it. I've always toyed with the idea of skydiving so this seemed like a great introduction. I have NO IDEA how it happened but I purchased tix for a different location and they were VERY HELPFUL in getting it changed around for us. We signed the waivers, suited up, got a quick instruction and then the flights began. Our group was pretty full with 8 people but I went first. 60 seconds. That's it. You "fly" for 60 seconds, completely and 100% of the time attached to the instructor. Mind you, he was GREAT and I can, in hindsight, understand why they hold on to you but it was not what I imagined. That said, I am GLAD I paid $20 for the "high flight" so I could experience a little bit of something more than going in a circle. Hubby found it totally exhilarating! He has a wonky back (no injuries) and had no issues. I'm certain if we lived closer, he'd be going back for more! The whole experience was about an hour and half so taking into consideration I flew for 120 seconds, it's a pretty pricey hobby. We got a deal (because it was a weekday morning) and with the 2 high flights = $218. (Regular price would've been $280.)Anyhow, glad I did it, would definitely recommend, might enjoy it again with a group of friends or family but it's likely a one time thing for me. There was a good deal offered after our flights and I know hubby would've gone for it it we weren't so far away.***Our instructor was AMAZING with the two young and very nervous kids in our group. He was patient but pushed/encouraged them and they FLEW the 2nd round, ending with just the biggest smiles and high fives ever!***

I highly recommend this for the people that do not want to jump out of a plane. You are "assisted" in your flight as a beginner. You are able to advance with experience. It was a lot of fun, would do it again.

I can't emphasize enough what a scam job this place deploys. Upon completing your "flight", they offer discounted vouchers for future use. What they fail to tell you, is how they expire within 21 days. You can't even read the tiny print that states it. First off, who in their right mind will return within 21 days? Second, do you really need to be this strict about redemption expiration? Like I said, total scam job. I hate this place and I tell everyone I know what awful ownership they must have. Ripping off everyone with these return vouchers...you should feel ashamed of yourself. Pathetic!

My husband wanted to jump from a plane for his birthday however since it is in January we decided to do IFly now and then jump when it was warmer. All I can say is just keep taking my money. Such a great experience. We both had a trouble figuring out how to position our bodies the first flight. Our instructor was so patient with us. Such an amazing experience. Definitely going to be doing this more. Honestly feel this gives me more confidence for the plane jump. Highly recommend the Sacramento IFly team. Such great people. I will also add you need to be sure to get the high flight. Trust me it will not feel that high and you will feel amazing after.

Thank you, Marcus and the rest of the IFly team for making our 11-year-old son's birthday extra special. This was my husband's and 11-year-old's second jump session, and me and my older son's first jump, it was even more fun than they hyped it up to be.The team was patient, kind, and very helpful. If we lived closer we would be regular flyers. We are already planning and looking forward to our next visit. Thank you all for a great time.

Super fun. My 10 year old son and I came here and our instructor was Ian. Everything went super smooth and Ian is very mellow and helpful with lots of experience. We'll be back again!

Hau and the other instructors are great. I've been bringing my seven year old in for flight training and it's been worth every dollar.

What a cool experience that totally lived up to my expectations! The facility was really neat and the instructors were great. Granted, we attended a birthday party there so I wasn't the one paying the bill. Prepare yourself for sticker shock but hear me out...We've done all of the jump places.. all of the arcade party places.. we've rented the bounce houses year after year.. this was unique, different, and incredibly memorable. So drop that dime, there are only so many birthdays and so many opportunities to make memories like this.

Rough my nephew and was a fun experience for him. The staff was very friendly and patient. My nephew is a high energy with lots of questions lol. They do a quick training, suit them up and get them lined up. They are in a group of others so they take turns. They offer an extra fly when you're there and will ask the guardian prior to the flyer since it comes at an additional cost. If the guardian says no, they won't offer to the flyer. They also ask how high the flyer wants to go. Going extra high is an extra cost so they ask the guardian before offering to the flyer. Pricing is expensive and there are lots of add ons. They offer huge discounts after you fly, so it is better to book something smaller, see how you like it and then buy a larger package after your fly. They are like 40-50% off of you wait.

First time experience, Besides not knowing anything past this place isn't a real sky diving service ( mind you I never have skydived before figured this is the next best thing to start off with your child , get to know them a little more before you jump out a plane with them . [ no pun ] )I was surprised to watch my 9 year old daughter go in the wind tunnel before me without hesitation ..Unknowingly this place happens to create smiles.( The Staff - All Dope , super nice and attentive )Y'all really should have some Groupons for solo Fly experience or some short lessons to be able to wear some of the instructor helmets and do my own Fly stuff.
