First off I would like to say they have a wonderful pool.But.........They do not adhere to their schedule they have posted. You can go and they may or may not be there which has wasted your time and gas especially if you are traveling from another town.So very sad, because this pool could be so useful for those who need water therapy. But their time stated for the seniors/disabled is never kept. Its a wildcard shot, you may get in and you may not. And if you buy a $45 pass and show up many time, no one there, they will not refund your money.Really sad.....

My 6 month old baby boy's first ever swim is at Hutchins Street Square pool a few weeks ago. A nice indoor heated pool perfect for all year round swimming. They have not one but two welcoming lifeguards at the time we were there. Also, they have a variety of classes for different age group. On their website it shows they have Mommy & Baby swim classes but found out upon walking in that they only have those during summer. They have lots of floats for the kids to play with on the water. A good place to enjoy and burn some calories with your family without worrying putting on some sunblock or having chills during winter for sure! The only room for improvement that I did notice is that two of their windows are broken and won't close and that made the area we are staying in much cooler which was a concern having an infant with us. At the time we went there it was almost dark and the cold breeze goes right into the window. We'll definitely still go there though and recommend the place since it's a nicely maintained pool and a fun place to spend time with the family overall.

Disappointment from the get go....The photos on the website are misleading. Angles and lighting make it look like a nice pool but it isn't. For a public pool it is very small. The pool area (2nd floor of HSS) is hot; the air smells dank and stale. The water (even before the pool was evacuated because someone defecated in it) was smelly, cloudy, and tasted like anything but chlorine. I come from a tiny town in the Midwest (less than 3000 people) that has a pool that makes HSS pool look like a moldy plastic wader. I was confident that in a city the size of Lodi the pool facilities would be good. I really miss swimming since moving to Lodi and I had really high hopes....
