Huong Lan Sandwiches and Noodles

Hoang lan is probably one of the best staple vietnamese sandwich spots. They had a few hiccups upon opening where we had to stop ordering the sandwiches because the pate/mayo did not taste like sacramento's location. I'm just glad that my brother forced my family and I to try them one last time, we were about to stop eating there for good; they finally fixed their pate and mayo recipe.Pretty standard viet mom and pop shop, with ready to go items at the front, specialty asian drinks like thai tea, viet coffee, ube coffee which is their viet coffee w ube flavor (fantastic) and many breakfast/lunch options. Very friendly owners, I always feel at home eating there.Our go to is the number 12 combo, you can't go wrong with that classic. Their noodle plates and eggrolls are delicious as well, not a big fan of noodles but they make them right. Recently started getting the breakfast platter where its the number 12 disassembled + 2 eggs for extra protein. This ended up becoming my new favorite.Overall great banh mi shop, close to home, flavor is (now) always consistent, great drink options (sometimes the thai tea is a little watered down but it varies day by day), I would bring your family here if you want to try banh mi or just need your banh mi fix fulfilled.

I've been searching for a banh mi place in Stockton & nothing met my expectations until I had huong lan.I got the dac biet (combo) banh mi. I really like their meat. Maybe even more than duc huong. The head cheese has a great texture and flavor. They cut their meat thin, but they don't skimp on it. I also get extra pate and mayo on my banh mi bc I prefer it more saucy.Side note: it's kind of hidden in the back near Popeyes, and if you dine-in they give you toasted bread!

The BEST Banh Mi ever!!! Tried their Banh Mi Xa Xiu, which tasted heavenly! We also got the classic Banh Mi Däc biêt and their Jasmine Milk Tea with boba and grass jelly. All of them tasted delicious and flavorful. Their bread was airy and crunchy but also had the right amount of softness. It was easy for me to chew their bread. We've tried so many Banh-Mi places and I was amazed by the taste of the meat and Banh Mi. The Banh Mi was not dry and addictively crispy.After we tried their Banh Mi, it became our new favorite Banh Mi place. The service is fast and friendly!If you want to try authentic Vietnamese Banh Mi, I highly recommend Hương Lan in this location!

I recently visited at their new location. Initially, I found the exterior less than inviting, and the restaurant was a bit hard to find as it's situated in the back. However, once inside, I was pleasantly surprised by the bright and cool atmosphere.As usual, I ordered my favorites, the number five and number twelve. I noticed that the bread has changed since the relocation, and I actually prefer this new version over the old one. Unfortunately, I was disappointed with the amount of meat in my order. There were only one or two slices, which felt insufficient, especially compared to how it used to be at the old location.I hope the restaurant considers returning to their previous portion sizes to match the quality of their new atmosphere.

Gave this place another try. They have pre-made food now. Got my steam rice roll! Got their grill pork sandwich. Bread was crispy and warm. Overall satisfied with our visit today. I didn't take any pictures.

Amazing sandwiches, I got the BBQ chicken and dad got the #1 w pate!The bread is extremely fresh and we went at a weird time, almost 2:45 p.m. and it was still really crisp. We also got iced coffee and green tea with lychee Highly recommend. Also nice tV w good sound.

This hidden little place is the best banh mi sandwiches hands down. Me and my husband have tried hundreds of banh mi places All over Bay Area to surrounding cities out here. Bread is baked fresh, crisp to perfection, inside is clean, friendly service, good ingredients. This is our new fav sandwich spot since we discovered it last month!

Been here twice now and the food is phenomenal. The noodle salads are so refreshing while still giving you a protein(s) of your choice. Really enjoyed their bahn mi as well. They are very consistent and the service is quick.

Good sandwiches. Service is well... per usual... Vietnamese people can definitely use a class or 2 in customer service. The owner has conversations with others while taking your order and the ladies be arguing with each other. I know... I'm Vietnamese... I feel like their sandwiches aren't as good as before. The bread is good. The sandwich is lacking though. Decent prices. If I'm nearby I'll stop by and pick up a sandwich.
