Hughson Asian Kitchen

I don't even know where to start... we walked into a simple yet lovely little place in downtown Hughson. It was bright, spacious and cool (it was 100° out). The server was welcoming and told us to grab whatever seat we wanted. We started out with the garlic edamame... I am pretty sure they brine them in salt water... the garlic was everywhere and yummy! The one thing I liked is I didn't feel rushed to eat... it was a big plate and we had time to eat it. We ordered the 12 piece sashimi, the tuna was good but we saved the salmon and yellow fin (I think) for last... melt in your mouth goodness... the ocean torch was good but my favorite out of the two was the Gorilla roll... I would recommend this restaurant for both the sushi and Chinese food. We watched HUGE platters coming out to tables and they were for one person! You could easily share it. What a find!

Service was prompted and courtesy. The Garlic Chicken, Hot and Sour soup, and Pork Chow Mein was excellent. I order from there once a week. I would highly recommend this restaurant.

The sushi rolls were decent, and I would recommend them for the Modesto region. However, we tried the chow mein and kung pao chicken, and I wasn't a big fan. I may return, but only for the sushi rolls.

First time here and would be back again! We wanted to try a sushi location near ceres and was not disappointed. We went for lunch, the service was quick and attentive and our food was delicious. We had also ordered cream cheese wontons as well but I forgot to snag a picture of them.

We've discovered our new sushi joint!! The servers are so nice and welcoming. Easily located. Clean environment. Food is served quickly(we went at 11:30, and they open at 11).

Our favorite Restaurant in Hughson!Good food and really friendly people. My son and I come here all of the time!

What a hidden gem I had the gorilla roll it had just the right amount of spice very flavorful well worth the price, nice place to relax and have lunch really clean. I wish I could give this place more than 5 stars.

First time here. Food was delicious and came out super hot and fresh. Got the orange chicken combo. Portions are massive!

My husband and I decided to this check this place out over the weekend. We got in as soon as they open at 11am. Of course we live out of town so we got there fairly early. The restaurant was clean and the people in there were friendly. We tried the sushi and it was great! We had the hulk, ocean torch and the garlic edamame. Will come back and try the Chinese food next time.

Service was superb, extremely clean and spacious, food came out super quick and was delicious for such a great price!! I'm so glad I tried this, I will be back for sure!
