A red flower. It is a little blurry.

Another tree with pink flowers.

A little sign that says, "TRAIL". It has an arrow pointing to the trail. ;)
Part of a tree that was transported to the park a long time ago.
Sunflowers, we saw on our way out of the park! There is an American flag in the background. :)
A tree with beautiful pink flowers.
Had an assignment to find every color of the Rainbow. The blue is the sky. :) I tried my best. Hope you enjoy!

Pink flowers on a tree, nice blue sky in the background.
Close-up of the fruit on the tree. It looks like cherries, but tastes like an apple (according to my friend).
A little house in the tree. Is it a bird house?
A bench that is made from a tree, and looks like Pac-Man! :)
A tree, looks reddish-purple to me.
In the trail.

We came with a group to check out the Hughson Arboretum & Gardens. Our personal assignment for ourselves was to take photos of every color in the rainbow. I tried my best to capture every color in nature. However there were only a few blooming trees when we went. I thought maybe if we came at a different time of the year, we might see more blooms. I'm not sure.To be honest, it was a little underwhelming, and one of my friends expressed their disappointment. It looks larger online, and we were restricted from seeing all of the plants and trees, due to the fenced-in area. However, I enjoyed the short walk in nature, and tried to capture as many beautiful photos as I could.

I'm pretty excited about this arboretum. Now, I think we came on an unusually spectacular day because it was sunny and blue skies but not very hot out. It is early May and so there were some Spring flowers blooming. And yet there was nobody else there at all for almost the whole time we drove and wandered around. It's free, there's plenty of parking, and there is a guide/map near the entrance. It is pretty easy to find, and in very nice condition. Appears this lovely property doesn't get a lot of visitors. I'd like to amplify its reach, but people this place is free and awesome. Please don't trash it! Be respectful, and don't expect too much... prepare for a wildly hot day with fairly little cover from the sun, with no bathrooms or fountains, or other facilities. But what it is, is pretty cute.
