House Of Mules

I've been hooked on this place for awhile now and it's safe to say I've never left disappointed. Tuesdays are a taco lover's dream come true, with a variety that'll make your taste buds do the salsa with their crispy fish taco or their el pastor, you'll never go wrong. However, the ahi nachos and homemade poppers are my guilty pleasures--though, my only complaint is I wish they'd throw in a few more chips to balance out the indulgence.Although we've always had a great experience with all the bartenders, our favorite is Raja. This guy is a master of drinks and a king of customer service. His drinks are always on point, and his friendly vibe makes you feel like you're sipping margaritas with an old friend. He's the kind of server who remembers your name and your drink of choice, which is no small feat!The atmosphere is cozy, clean, and perfectly positioned for a post-bike ride pit stop during summer. And let's be real, the bathrooms are so clean you could eat off the floor (though, please don't). All in all, House of Mules is my go-to spot for great food, better drinks, and even better company. Highly recommended!

I came in on a quiet Saturday afternoon. Madison was my server and I sat at the bar. She was very kind, and I could tell she has good connections with usuals that visit the bar. Service was quick and the establishment was very clean and bright. I am looking forward to coming here with my fiancé at some point now that I know they have live music. My only critique was the amount of chips that came with my ahi poke nachos. The taste and flavor was definitely to die for though, perfectly seasoned and delicious and refreshing. I asked for a side of extra chips. I ordered the paradise mule-- anything with pear is always bright and lovely.I'll be back !

Came by after my music performance for a drink and a snack to celebrate my singing success. We did order mules of course- they live by their name. Truly a house of mules. We sat outside with the puppy who we picked up from day care down the street. Nice outside space with a stage and a bike/walk path behind the buildings . The food was good and drinks excellent. Will try to come back during an event to check it out.

Came here with coworkers (plus my baby) for happy hour. We sat in their patio which had shade and plenty of seating near the trail, which was pretty. We were quickly greeted and our server was great at giving us recommendations. We ordered drinks (alcoholic and nonalcoholic) and plenty of happy hour menu items. They have a variety of mules to choose from and two that I had were delicious. The fries, wings, and nachos were tasty. Looking forward to coming back for trivia or another night out.

First time visiting this place. Sports bar atmosphere, plenty of TV's. Friendly wait staff, happy hour too with pita chips & salsa.The drinks were fine, the food needs some work. Jambalaya was only warm and very bland, no flavor. I put the salsa from the chips to add some flavor. The Turkey burger was all right but the sweet potato fries tasted "old"They did have live music, and the band was pretty good. Our 2 ladies were dancing on the side of the table. We did enjoy our time mainly due to the band and the drinks. It is a fairly new place so we'll wait a bit and try it again. Our joint rating is 3.5 stars

Amazing food, location and ambience!Robert made our Moscow mules so delicious and best I ever had!! I got the jalapeño one and my friend got the berries one. It was so refreshing and the taste was on point!! The food was good and fresh out of the kitchen!! Great customer service and we will be back soon!! Plenty of parking and outside seating. Pets allowed!! Happy hour-yes!

This place is down the street from our house and they have a live band on Saturdays (I think). There is outdoor seating and this place is dog friendly. They even gave my dog a water bowl. Staff are all super nice. Wings are half price on weds. My fav would have to be the wings with habanero sauce. It's sweet and just the right spice. They give complimentary chips and salsa to enjoy while waiting for food to come. The mules are all good too.

So excited a new restaurant in Folsom!MULESSSSS, you say.I really wanted this place to be a hidden gem but alas she is not. Tucked into the small shopping center with Jamba juice/dos coyotes off of Folsom Blvd lies this brand new restaurant.My friend and I were super ready to have a girls night out. The parking lot didn't look too crazy and we just missed happy hour.Filled with your usual Folsomites and some odds and ends.The vibe/decor was modern with sports bar. The menus were hard to read and I'm not that old. It was due to low lighting and a black background for the menu.We were told food was made all in house, mhmm I think not. The pretzel was straight out of a frozen box.The food was really average and nothing struck us as come back to have this. They give you free chips and salsa but the salsa doesn't even stay on the chips.The mules were good. The Pina colada like one was our favorite but blown away by the price tag of one drink.Service was slow as well. I know they just opened and our server was trying but, our drinks came after our food.Will I be going back? Mhmm no. I wish them the best of luck!

first time at house of mules and it won't be my last! they have a great weekly specials menu; truly something for everyone whether it be drink or food specials. they have live music on the weekends, and apparently it's the place to be if you want to watch any UFC fights! tons of drink and food options on the regular menu as well. we started with the fried pickles, which were fabulous. they had the perfect crunch from the batter, and their ranch is an excellent accompaniment! we also got the wings with mango habanero and they definitely have that sweet spicy kick you expect from the sauce. we got the salmon and steak plates for entrees. the steak was cooked to a perfect medium rare and had tons of sides to please all your taste buds. the miso salmon was also cooked perfect with a heaping amount of cooked veggies (cabbage, spinach, and onions). my only complaint is i could done without the garlic ginger cream sauce -- it felt too heavy with the salmon and veggies. Dylan was our server and provided excellent service; gave great recommendations as well! there's tons of parking an a nice patio to eat on during those warmer days. will definitely be back!
