Their Spanish bread is my favorite! Especially early in the mornings when they're made fresh!

Sign says closed and there is a chain with a lock on it. It says 7 as a time to return, but that time is after the Yelp closing time of 5pm. It's currently 3:45pm on Thursday and the store should be open.I wanted to buy some star bread for my client meeting. It looks like I won't be able to. Not sure if this business is closed permanently or not.

It is actually quite difficult now to get Spanish bread ordered ahead of time. They don't accept preorders but you can call the day of and they can give you a time to come pick up. I love the Spanish bread and so does everybody I bring it to. So good fresh & even after it sits.

*Checks Yelp to see where the nearest Starbread is finding out that it's in Tracy* I see.....Upon arrival on a weekday at around 1 pm I found the bakery to be very empty aside from two things inside of the display case; one individual Spanish bread and one individual ensaymada. Granted, the lady at the counter told me that those are display samples and that there are more in the kitchen for purchase (*phew*). The only other thing that was available at the time was plain pan de sal.I took a bite of one Spanish bread and although it was soft there was hardly any butter filling in it. Pretty much just an oblong pan de sal. The ensaymada was essentially pan de sal with a butter/margarine spread on top that was barely salted/sweetened. I wasn't really a fan of the pan de sal base itself either as it was devoid of any flavor, not even slight milkiness.Very underwhelming but I didn't rate this place 1 star as the lady at the counter was friendly.I mean, I suppose if you're into Spanish bread with more of a bread-y pan de sal edge to it and want Spanish bread that's much less sweet/rich than what it typically is then this bakery might be right up your alley. Otherwise, I recommend just heading to the Starbread in Tracy.

Another delicious, tasty, hot serving of Spanish bread. Love it! Worth it! Highly recommend it!

My go to place when I'm craving for some soft, pillowy Spanish Bread! Make sure to call ahead to order.

Still good but not the same. The spanish bread is now a cross between pan de sal and spanish bread, dryer bread on on top and the filling is now a thin layer on the very bottom. It's no longer layered with the butter mixture, they no longer melt in your mouth. Call in your order, the accepted cash only.No cheese bread but said I could order and it could be ready in a couple hours, I thought that was accommodating. They are always very nice on the phone and when you go in. The bakery no longer has the shelves with breads, it's now empty and they go in the back to fill your order.

Super close by walking distance from my place. Price is amazing! Bread is definitely hot! People there are nice! Clean area very spacious! Wish there was more glaze on the bread, but all else close by love coming back here. My employees call it crack bread cause it be addicting!

Holy moly. Spanish bread and ensaymadas. Spanish bread looks like a small bread roll with butter and sugar. Ensaymadas are a round bread with butter and sugar on top. Effin fire!!!
