Ambience and service is great! It's not your regular restaurant that someone goes to your table to take your order, you have to go to the register and order! For us no problem! Let me tell you... everything was delicious! We got both of the chicken sandwiches/burger (spicy and non spicy!) mushroom burger and the jalapeño burger... amazing! Sorry we didn't took pictures because we were focus on eating Too far for us to visit more often but we will come back if we are around here!

Heard so much about this place and passed by it so many times but never noticed it. Wasn't a fan of how it works and it also happened to be trivia night + a foot ball game going on so it was a packed house and incredibly loud with the guys next to us screaming in our direction. Very annoying. We would've sat outside to be away from the noise but it was cold and they didn't have heaters. Perhaps could invest in some heaters. Food: burgers were good if you like that hint of that char grilled taste although hubby and I agreed John's Char burger still wins. Truffle fries were a bit cold. Nothing special. The zucchini fries I would come back for. They were freshly fried and the chipotle dipping sauce was tasty. Not spicy at all, I'd give it to a child. Service: hubby went up to order our food, there's no table service here. If you like beer, the options were plentiful. I don't drink beer. I maybe would've gotten a cocktail but the thought of getting up and making my way through the crowd of folks already seated at the bar plus the trivia people, and then standing in line to order a cocktail reminded me of being in a club. No thanks.

This place is really cool! It's a pour your own beer spot with options for everyone with every beer taste. I loved that they had a couple sour options. The service was great and prices seemed fair. The aesthetic is very clean and welcoming, and the location is super kid friendly. We didn't get any food or anything but it was a perfect stop in our bar hopping in the area. I would definitely meet friends here after work.

Great vibes and something for everyone. This place is an easy meeting point for a group of people - there are drinks for all types of drinkers!Their smash burgers are DELICIOUS, great flavor and texture. Next time I would ask to swap out the pretzel bun as it was a bit too tough and chewy, and would have loved something softer.

I've said it once, I'll say it again. The buffalo chicken fries keep me coming back here. Sooo dang delicious. The Mac and cheese balls were good too but man the fries hit so good and it's always the perfect amount too

The food was stellar!! The pretzel is enough for 4 people to share as an app. The monster fries were great, definitely a nice ode to animal style fries. The zucchini is always a favorite of mine but looking forward to trying the hummus plate the next time I'm there!

The food here is actually really good! Which is why I think it deserves a solid 5. I walked in on a Thursday and it seems like they had a trivia night going on, seemed fun! I came in for a drink and quick bite to eat. I had a "such a Gemini" cocktail to match my actual zodiac, lol. The giant pretzel is a must! A few things to keep in mind...When you walk in they will ask for your ID and a card to put on file. They will then hand you a white card that you scan against the different taps for beer or wine. It's pretty much self serve unless you go to the bar for a cocktail. At the end of your visit they will charge your card accordingly to what you grabbed off the tap or ordered.

Great place to meet up after work with friends or co-workers. They had a variety of food and drink options. I like the option of trying some beers and getting half of one and half of another for the price of one. The food was also good everyone enjoyed their orders. I had the Bulgogi Fries which were incredible. The flavors were delicious and the portion was huge. I took some home to eat the next day which was still as tasty. I liked the sweet and salty flavors with the fresh peppers and would get this again. I cannot wait to visit again and try some other items and drinks.

Hops and Sessions in Livermore downtown is a must-visit for families and beer lovers! The fun and friendly vibe is matched only by the exceptional staff. We devoured the beet salad, Hops Burger (two smashed patties!), BBQ Burger (the star of the show!), and mouthwatering tacos. Refreshing gin and vodka cocktails rounded out the meal. Quick service and fantastic value. Don't miss this place!

It was so fun! Had a few drinks and the food menu looked amazing. We didn't get anything food wise but the service was nice as well. Very nice folks. The ambience was wonderful because we went on a Thursday and it was trivia game night so everyone was having a blast!
