Hop Asylum

This is one of our favorite places to go for a drink in Brentwood/Antioch area. It has a great location, lots of parking, great selection of beers, ciders and seltzers, and good snacks/food.I LOVE that they carry Untitled Art seltzer. I haven't been able to find it at many places, and it's so good. The food is awesome too, if you like a casual dinner and small appetizers. The flatbreads are phenomenal, as is the charcuterie board. It's a great vibe and atmosphere. I would go so far as to say the best place for a beer in the area! Definitely worth checking out.

Yummmmmm. This is definitely my favorite local beer spot. So many delicious varietys on tap and lots of bottles and cans to take home. Everyone here is laid back & friendly so it's always a nice atmosphere.

On February 15, 2025 Hop Asylum poured Pliny the Younger, a highlight for Empire Avenue thereby sealing their reputation as the best establishment on this side of Lone Tree Way.

Amazing beer offerlngs including Russian River's Pliny the elder and was told they serve the younger as well when they get it.Wonderful staff like Brian and Tracy who are so courteous and friendly !Decent bar bites . I loved the margarita flatbread and Hot Dog with chips was good as well. Next time we will try their panini sandwichesWe plan to make this regular watering hole just because of the super friendly customers and patrons.We had a wonderful evening interacting with all in typical neighborhood bar ambience .See you there soon!

This was our second visit & we totally fell in love with the place....this review has both visit pics...Here's why..,.There are a few places still left where u get the "CHEERS" vibe - Where everybody knows your name" The famous motto- ( some people especially the earlier generation will remember the famous TV series of 1982 ) . It's a local hangout place where everyone talks to each other even if ur new .... Service is amazing , very friendly & great advice. Always happy to help with various choices they have...Food is good & the locals help by giving their recommendations when ur new...You can bring outside food & eat ... indoor as well as outdoor area. I saw so many people doing that which is great They also have tie up with food trucks like Riko Burgers who actually come inside to deliver ur food...which I have never seen anywhere yet.... Great selection of beers !!! So what are you waiting for... come & hangout with friends, family or even if ur alone ..... You are going to love the Vibe !!! I am so happy Brentwood has Hop Asylum, it's our favorite spot.

First time here. I wanted to bring the kids and puppy, but unfortunately they're not allowed. 21 and up only. Now to the beer and food. Beer, Hazy IPA are really tasty? The food still needs a little work, not much just a little. Other then that. Great place to hangout and enjoy the Brentwood weather. Cheeks guys !

Went back to this place after the name change. It was surprisingly pretty chill. Good atmosphere, big beer selection and tasty food. Staff were friendly and helpful. Definitely recommend and will go back.

If you're into craft beer Hop Asylum is a must stop.Brian and his team have curated some of the best, hardest to find and most unique beer with highlights on California crafts. Behind the bar Val is probably one of kindest people you will ever meet, not sure what you like? She can make suggestions. Want to try a splash of something committing to it? Vals your girl. The food options are pub faire but still made really well, personally the hot dog and chips is my go to order. This place feels like "your" local spot, it's comfortable, the beers are plentiful and the food tasty. Beer lovers and novices alike this is a place for you

Came here for a date night and it was decent. We arrived around 8:15pm and ordered a porter and Prosecco. Then we started playing on their arcade machines. We finished with some Rib Tips and Chicken Pesto Sandwich. The rib tips were mostly fat and were not that tasty. The sandwich had mostly chicken on one side and none on the other. The crowd were on the younger side, so it seems like that's the hangout spot. Overall, I will not be going back.

If you're into microbrews this is the place for you. They have many many options. The appetizers are okay. I was surprised with its location. It's in a strip mall. Idk I guess I pictured it I. A barn like building on a farm. Idk why.
