It's a busy place, but this is my first time visiting since moving to town in 2014.It's a lot smaller than I expected but there are a number of booths and a similar number of tables. I didn't see a table for family-style dinners.We ordered a Tofu-Seafood soup, a Hot & Sour soup, and a WonTon soup. We also ordered a Hong Kong Fried Rice, Potstickers, and Fried Wonton. It was a to-go order. It came to a bit over $50, which isn't bad since each item that could be small or large was ordered as large.They were rather busy at lunch time. Plenty of people eating there and a few carry-out orders, as well. The service was friendly, and the staff were managing their 15 hour day pretty well. The Lucky Cat must have kept them energized.We arrived home with the big box of food. We were surprised to find two containers of Hot and Sour soup and the lady of the house was not happy that her taste wasn't met.The Seafood and Tofu soup had a good broth. I wished that we'd gotten two of those. The Hot and Sour soup was not really spicy or sour.I didn't understand why the fried wonton were so inexpensive, but unlike any other Chinese restaurant I've encountered, they were not filled, and looked like tortilla chips. (Everyone's grandma cooks differently.) They were acceptable for what they were and the potstickers were okay.The Hong Kong Fried Rice was okay, as well.To me, this restaurant is about the same as any of the others in the area, save Golden Bowl in Lathrop. I generally don't eat Americanized Chinese food but it's difficult to find the other kind that stays in business.I might return for the steamed fish, as they are a closer walk than Forum Dynasty. If their steamed fish is good, I can give them an extra half a star.

I feel terrible leaving bad reviews for small business owners but this meal was one of my worst probably ever. So I would like to do the business a favor with feedback to hire a new chef. We ordered Szechuan chicken, chicken, fried rice, chicken, chow mein, and sesame beef. From the moment I opened my carry out containers I already knew it was going to be awful, the looks weren't even appealing. I proceeded with my first bite of the Szechuan chicken that was just crunchy, dry, chewy chicken- I couldn't stop chewing the chicken because it never broke down- I was debating on swallowing or spitting it out. Everything to follow was flavorless, not cooked to taste, very little sauce. I def will not be returning here.

2 1/2 starsTried this place for dinner on 6/13/24. We decided to orders some orange chicken, beef fried rice, steam rice and sweet & sour pork. Food here seems to be ok. We both thought the orange and the sweet & sour pork was cooked to long because it was really crispy. I found that the orange chicken tasted way better than the sweet and sour pork. My mistake when I ordered my dish was to have both the rice and sweet & sour pork together on the plate. I don't like when the rice is drenched with sauce. I couldn't really taste it because the pork was crispy and fried. Most of the sauce was with the rice. Overall food was ok and service was good and friendly.

I was Rolling Thru Town and I wanted Chinese Food for Dinner Today!!!So I went to Hong Kong Restaurant!!!I've been wanting to try them for a while!!!!I parked my Whip right in front and rolled In and grabbed a Table like a Boss!!!!They have their own Parking Lot FYI!!!Their Server is a Breath Of Fresh Air!!!She was very Nice, Friendly and Inviting!!!I ordered off their Special Board - A Large Asparagus Beef Plate in Black Bean Sauce!!! I also ordered a Large Bowl of Steamed Rice and a Large Fried Prawns plate!!!My Server brought me a Glass of Ice Water and kept it full for me!!!15 minutes later my Server brought my Food Piping Hot From the Kitchen!!!!I enjoyed the Food as it was Fresh and Delicious!!!It was Packed full of Flavors!!!The only thing I really didn't like was the Breading on the Shrimp!!!It was a little Thick and Excessive!!!I like the Decor and the Vibe of the Restaurant!!!It's also a Family Owned Restaurant!!!This Is A Baller On A Budget Approved Establishment!!!

Monica and her kids are so hospitable and precious. We felt like we had come to her home! Jayse her daughter is so helpful and ready to serve! The food was generous and really good. We ordered Hong Kong Fried rice, fried zucchini, chicken curry and asked if she could make orange beef, as they have orange chicken. She quickly said "no problem"! It was so good too! Everything was made fresh and tasted like it! Portions are very generous and we had two more meals from our leftovers! They were just as good the next day. We found our new go to place for Chinese food!

We found this restaurant on goggle and it said it was good. So we decided to give it a try, we went in there the service was excellent and the lady was very nice kept coming to check on us. We had ordered couples of items in the menu. We had ordered dry fried ribs and fried chicken. The dry fried ribs was very burn and old. Also the chicken was old as well. How can a restaurant with good service, serve old yesterday food to customers. I am disappointed and I will never go there again.
