Holiday Oakdale Motel

We are on our third day second night staying here. $75 two double beds, Wi-Fi very fast, awesome service from all staff. This motel has been in service for close to 55 years and I see many complaints about it needing updating however, in my opinion they've kept it up nicely. Managers work hard all day to keep everyone happy and constantly working. Maid are quick in and out with service.Only complaint I have is that the coffee needs to be coffee instead it is just like water. Other than than that I am happy with this motel. The price is steep however it is the cheapest one in ten and it is the main stop for those touring and traveling through.

A Friendly Smile Goes A Long Way.I was greeted by Merissa, & Merissa was so helpful, friendly & professional. I only stayed for one night but I had no complications or second thoughts for that day. It is a little outdated but don't let that fool you. Merissa's hospitality was over the top appreciated. Thank you. I know I'm not staying at No Hilton or 5stay hotel. It's a Motel so keep that in mind. Would mind staying here again next time I'm in town for work. =D

Friendliest motel in town. Room was clean, everything worked, and the managers are on top of everything. They were able to work with me and made my stay excellent. Nice to see management that knows what they're doing.

This place was disgusted, we needed to stay for a week but only stayed to 3 days. It is the cheapest motel in the city. But come on! We were told they were newly remodeled rooms (yea ok) We stayed in room 153 it in the front with the grass area due to having our dogs. We first got in the room and it small bad like dirty feet and really musty. We said whatever and open the window to air it out. The pillow case looked like it had mildew (Pitcured) on it, also dead bugs in back of the night stand. (Pictured) the smoke detector was in the drawer (pitcure) we did inform then to let them know. The housekeeping was supposed to stop by (we had to be somewhere at 4:15) but after 4pm were said forget it, Walk around to find her and ask for towel and left to, the next day the women at the front (manager) told us we had to leave because we refused service. I told her she had powder on her nose, (white powder) she wiped it off and said it was sunscreen??! I would if thought a powder doughnut lol. We didnt fight with her we just said ok and left. I would not recommend this place. But it is the cheapest so people dont have much choice. Hope the next visitor has a better experience here. But I will not be returning ever.

Whatever you do - DO NOT STAY AT THE HOLIDAY MOTEL IN OAKDALE. They should not be allowed to stay open for business. The rooms are filthy, the smell is enough to make you sick. The only two things that worked in the room was the mini fridge and the microwave. Everything else was broken or in need of repair or replacement. It appears that most occupants live there on a full time permanent basis. Noisy and people coming in and out of parking area all hours of the night. Sleep is impossible - the beds are old, nasty and very uncomfortable. The bathroom was beyond disgusting - dirty, no hot water, towels wereall stained and smelled like an old mans butthole. Believe me - you are better off sleeping in your car.

The service was terrible, I was yelled at for inquiring about when I can get towels. Being as how I'd been there two days I didn't think it was that big of a deal. Worst of all was the look I was given when I requested a little bit of cleaner which I understand is up to their discretion. Although I'd hope Management could at least try to be a little understanding when they've rented a room filled with mold. What is the most troubling though would be the health hazards no smoke detector and no room phone plus all the roach's ! I will never ever stay here again.

"Don't judge a book by it's cover", is the only way to describe this place. The rooms are vintage, like a trip back to the 70's, but include all of the same comforts of home. Management goes out of their way to make their guests feel welcome. If you need a place to stay that's affordable, I definitely recommend this place!
