Service was pretty unfortunate here. We were mislead with the availability of roll away bed. We called ahead and they said we can get one, then come time for the stay, they said we couldn't. Front desk was pretty cold and dismissive. Also, there are signs of mold and rust in the room.It's worth noting that the Filipina breakfast service lady is awesome. She is really warm, welcoming and really on top of that breakfast service. She is the star of the facility

My husband and I booked a trip to CA for my birthday. We got to the hotel and the staff ran through the script of telling me the cost of parking, the fact that I needed to request housekeeping, the WiFi password and so on. They didn't point me to where any of their amenities were located, so I had to go find them on my own. We get up to the room and notice first thing that the room had previously had an ant problem and all the ants were dead, but not cleaned up. Next, there was a curly pubic hair in the top corner of the shower. The bed felt like bricks, with a layer of plywood, with a shallow foam topper on top. The day before my birthday, there was no hot water to the hotel. My husband and I had to find a random shower outside the hotel so we could shower with hotter than ice water. We'd requested room service in the morning before we left for the random shower 3 towns over. Imagine our surprise when we got back to the room that evening and it hadn't been touched. My husband had to go down to the lobby at 9pm to request a few towels and some coffee to get us by. The hotel didn't even acknowledge it was my birthday, or that they'd forgotten to clean our room. They apologized when we brought it to their attention again the next day, but they didn't do anything to make it better. We got the room with the pool view... And it was noisy. People outside intentionally being loud long into the night, and the door to the pool area slamming underneath our floor all day/night long. Overall, this was the worst stay I've ever experienced and I wouldn't recommend this location.

The exterior setup leaves a TERRIBLE 1st impression!!! There are NO free spaces to park at in the front!! Parking is in a lower level garage. The room size is fabulous, but the couch in the room is way TOO LOW!! The TV is a 40/48" . However, it has no streaming channels like Netflix or Amazon. I couldn't attach my phone to the HDMI because the remote has NO INPUT button!! The kitchette has NO plates, cutlery, dishes, bowls. Regrettably, it has soooooo much potential, but tremendously disappointing.

Nice hot breakfast, no hot water. Nobody should stay in a hotel without hot water (unless you like cold showers). I let the water run for over ten minutes a day the water was barely luke warm (which feels pretty cold for showers!) I feel so lucky i want traveling with my toddler.

Due to an Unfortunate situation I had to cancel a business trip and due to this personal situation completely forgot about my reservation at this hotel. I typically always remember my reservations and modify them appropriately if needed however due to what was happening with me personally I completely forgot. I missed my reservation as the trip was cancelled. I got in touch with customer service and pleaded with them, explaining exactly what happened and instead of being compassionate and understanding they charged me $211 for a room I never stayed in. I understand the fine print but I also understand people have things come up. You would think a huge corporation such as IHG would have a tiny bit of decency and reverse the charge. Nope. They are keeping my money for god knows what. They didn't have to clean the room, replace any amenities so it didn't cost them anything for the missed reservation. I was a regular customer, but now I will only be using Marriott. The way the world is right now a little common decency and compassion for someone else's misfortune goes a long way. This companies bottom line is profit not customer service or care. Terribly saddened by this and once again lost a tab bit of faith in the common good in the world.

This hotel is tired and badly in need of upgrades to mid 2020s standards. Electrical outlets are missing in obviously useful places, yet abundant near the floor behind a desk where they aren't very useful. Internet was slow to nonexistent. Garage layout is confusing. Bathroom is marginally sized, toilet much too low. Location is good, and it's on a street a mile or so away from a whole block of interesting restaurants served by an inexpensive public parking garage across the street. Next time I come through Walnut Creek I will stay elsewhere.

Super friendly staff at the front desk especially Yevette. Hotel is central to lots of restaurants, bars and downtown Walnut Creek is a 5 min drive. Plus it's a quick 2 min drive to jump on the freeway. One of the better HIE I've stayed at. Would def recommend if you're in the area. I stayed there multiple weeks without any issues...

The hotel was somewhat outdated but was centrally located. We have two small dogs so dog friendly place was a must. Thom concierge was amazing. He provided superb customer service and was so generous and helpful. Thom and his team were 100! . Thank you
