Holiday Inn Express - Vacaville

Loved it! Clean and the staff are so helpful! Great location to the outlets and lots of places to eat close by.

First I would like to say that it's a great place to stay. The rooms are nice and they are clean. They have a good'sh breakfast and they have free cookies all day long. Now, if you decide to stay here just please prepare to be harassed by housekeeping from about 9:00 am-12:00pm. No matter if you have a do not disturb sigh. Or not. And I don't mean they will Tap on The door and then come back in an hour. It will literally be every 10-15 minutes till you finally leave. I have no idea how they would act if you were to leave at 12:01. But that would simply never happen. Because you are so pissed by the time 12:00 gets there that you are just I. A race to not have them knock one more fu€#ing time. My goodness I hate being rushed. It's almost as bad as someone waiting in the car for you and honking the horn at you. Even though you aren't late. They just want you to hurry.

The reviews don't do this place justice, honestly! They've done a lot of remodeling and it looks SO nice and clean. The indoor pool and hot tub are super well kept. The front desk lady (I checked in 5/12 around 7PM) was so sweet and understanding even when my card declined she didn't judge me and offered another solution which worked and I finally got all checked in and went to our SUPER clean rooms. The outdoor area has gas fire pits and plenty of seating also! Don't forget about the free breakfast in the mornings! So good! My kids and I don't wanna go home!

The rooms are very rundown and not up to IHG standards. Pictures are of the second and supposed to be better room. Mgr heard me but made a lot of excuses about the condition and her front desk employee who was new and clueless. Daytime checkout woman was rude. I mean rude. IHG always sends a rating/review firm after each stat. But I've noticed I don't get one when there was a problem.

Had a great stay here. B at the front desk was incredibly helpful and kind! Clean rooms and great hospitality.
