We love our school and are honored to have access to such incredible education. The staff is chosen with intention and it is shown through their conscious instruction, teacher-student relationships, and the children's genuine love for school. Thank you for exceeding my expectations and for the schools continued growth to be better for their community!

One word ... Amazing! After a very traumatized 3 days at Montessori, we started our daughter at Heritage. I can't rave enough about the director Miss Becky, or our fabulous teacher Miss Hope. They use indoor/outdoor classrooms and I've seen my child change and grow in just the short 3 1/2 weeks she's been attending. I only wish we had started earlier.

We love Heritage so much!! This is a school that attends to the WHOLE child! Very HOLISTIC, CREATIVE, FUN and EFFECTIVE approach to early childhood learning. Our daughter loves going to school each and every day. The teachers are highly qualified, trained, ENGAGING, and educated. Most importantly all of the teachers are inclusive, SO kind and loving! The administration is the same! All of the staff individually and as a whole are incredible! Our daughter has been attending preschool here for almost a year and we couldn't be more impresssed! I have an early childhood education background and taught at a Montessori preschool in Lafayette, Ca (East Bay Area) for many, many years and I'm very picky When I started out looking for our daughter's school, I had a loooong list of standards that the school must have met. Heritage has met them all and exceeded my list! I couldn't have hoped for a better school and right here in town! Being able to support our amazing hometown premier preschool is an honor. Heritage takes a thoughtful and well planned out approach to early childhood education. They implement this EVERY day. I feel my daughter gets the most out of every moment she spends at school. I have seen our daughter grow in leaps and bounds not only academically with feats such as letter writing and beginning reading and an amazing science curriculum but also socially and emotionally! Heritage has the best teachers! They are trained and qualified teachers and not just daycare providers. They are extremely qualified in early childhood learning and are always professional. Heritage practices the Reggio Emilia Philosophy and High Scope Method as well as the Outdoor Classroom (which my daughter has really thrived with) I have witnessed that this combination really attends to all of her learning, social and emotional needs. I love the focus spent on exploration learning, outdoor play, learning how to be a part of community, and effective kindergarten preparation! I feel confident and secure that my child is getting the absolute best education and preschool experience available anywhere. This school is a cut above any of the preschools within an hour or more drive. You really should look no further!

Heritage is not just childcare. The program implements best practices in child development. It is difficult to find any preschool program in our area that offers an advanced curriculum for both academic and social emotional growth. Heritage takes a whole child approach to learning and encourages children to explore. My son is tired and happy at the end of the school day. He never liked preschool until we sent him to Heritage, now he can't wait.

Heritage is a unique preschool offering HighScope, a curriculum offered in the Bay Area and Southern California that hasn't been available in the Valley until now. It is the perfect fit for my active son! The indoor classroom is amazing--you'll see puppets, live animals in learning-friendly enclosures, wood cars, blocks & sticks, a marble maze building set, real tools like a stethoscope, costumes...it's a child's wonderland! The Outdoor Classroom gets him to develop problem-solving skills using familiar natural materials, like engineering structures with real pipes, rolling tires, playing with sand & water, tinkering with tools, & building with wood. Plus he loves the snacks the kids harvest from their own garden, & gathering eggs from the school's chickens. They don't even realize they're learning life sciences, math, language arts, geometry & healthy eating outside! The experience-based learning model dovetails nicely with CA's Common Core curriculum, so the kids are well-prepared for Kindergarden. It's a blessing to be part of a school that builds curriculum around the children's needs and learning styles. The teachers are highly experienced, professional, and dedicated to the children. We love Heritage!
