Friday night sushi with the fam. We were seated promptly. Our server was friendly and attentive. I had a cold Sapporo in a frosted glass. For appetizers I tried the mixed tempura. The veggies were crispy and tasty. I tried the Chowchilla roll. It has scallops, tuna, crab and cream cheese; yum! My daughter had the Lemon Tem which she enjoyed. All food tasted great and was served quickly. The restaurant is clean but a bit dated. The location is not ideal (limited parking being next to a gym and other restaurants). However the food is pretty good and fairly priced for sushi. Check it out !

I wish they were open for lunch on weekdays - that is the only reason for the missing star.They have the best appertizers, rolls and bentos in Lodi. My favorites - which I order in every Japanese restaurant we go to - is Salmon Shioyaki & Sashimi Bento Box or if I am not too hungry, a Rainbow Roll. They are always fresh and assembled well, and tastes excellent at Hazumi.

Small restaurant in same shopping complex as grocery outlet. Tasty bentos with tender beef teriyaki and ca rolls with a lot of imitation crab. Super reasonable prices too. The haru roll had fresh fish, but could've used a touch less sauce. Otherwise solid place for lunch or dinner. Friendly service too.

If I were rating the Nigiri alone, it would be five star. The perfect amount of rice with nice pieces of salmon and tuna. It tasted very fresh and it was good. The California roll was OK, as was the rainbow roll and the Sacramento roll that we ordered. The problem is they had very little taste. They were bland, and some of the fish on the rainbow roll had an extremely strong fishy taste. The vegetable tempura didn't look very appetizing, and it tasted a little greasy, but it wasn't bad. All in all, we would go here again. I would definitely order the Nigri and I would try some different rolls.NOTE TO HAZUMI: it would be nice if you would include soy sauce packets and chopsticks with DoorDash orders. There were none in the bag, which is unusual for a sushi restaurant not to include. As you can see from other reviews, it's been mentioned many times.

We went here for lunch last week because we were craving fresh oysters & miso soup. Its a cute little hole in the wall sushi spot in lodi that we had never been to before. We usually go to M or komachi but komachi was closed & i wasn't trying to spend M money lol $30 for 6 tiny oysters at M. They're only $15.99 here & just as good! we walked in and were greeted right away by our awesome server, Gavi. She was super friendly & attentive. We ordered miso soup, the oysters, the pepperfin appetizer, hamachi toro & chu toro nigiri. The miso was good, the pepperfin was delicious but spicy! The oysters were fresh & exactly what I was craving. Next we had the hamachi & chu toro. The hamachi toro was awesome & fresh & this was seriously going to be a perfect lunch until we got to the chu toro. The color of the toro was off, so that immediately made us raise an eyebrow, but then when my husband picked it up and took a bite he actually had to spit it out. And if you are someone who enjoys toro, especially tuna, thats not something you do! We politely told our server that the fish tasted off, she apologized & not only took it off of our bill, but gave us 20% off of our hamachi toro too! which was a nice surprise that was not at all expected. My only complaint is the fact that the sushi chef was willing to serve us fish he knew wasnt fresh or good. Thats the only reason why i feel like 3 stars is fair & its sad because everything else was so perfect! i think id be willing to give hazumi another chance so hopefully if we go again, i can update this review to 5 stars!

One of my new favorite sushi spots in town. Good quality and reasonable prices for rolls. My favorites are Boom, Love Roll, and the soft shell crab hand roll. They are consistent every time, which makes this place in top 3 for sushi in Lodi.

Terrible service. Manager couldn't be bothered to take our order on Valentine's Day. Only one server. we (2) came in early, it was slow but they couldn't keep track of who they seated first and took the order first of the table that arrived 10 minutes after we did. Food...just meh!
