Hardy Appetitez On Site Catering

These guys are super nice. I love that when you're standing around waiting for your food, the cooks are outgoing and fun to be around.I believe the Hardy tent is at the Modesto Farmers' Market weekly. It was awesome to be able to get a hot grilled cheese sandwich filled with freshly grilled tri-tip after a long morning of shopping and lugging around heavy vegetables and market products. I had to wait about 30 minutes because the tri-tip wasn't done yet. They asked if I was willing to return back to the tent and I was - so I continued to shop some more at the farmers' stands. It was well worth the wait. The sandwich can totally be shared. I gave the other half to a homeless vet who was nearby, and I was still full.Next time, I think I'd want a half pound of the tri-tip and eat it all by itself.They do appear to accept credit cards.

Had the opportunity to enjoy their food at a Fund raiser in Ceres. We can't stop talking about how good it was.

If I could give a lower score, I would. It's a good thing I called for their arrival time because they had us down for the next day BIG STRIKE ONE, then they were 1 1/2 hrs late STRIKE TWO, then they forgot the salad, STRIKE THREE.Needless to say, this is the first and last time using their service. Here's the huge one, over 100 people waiting in a tent for the food and caused overtime and late production time.

Hardy Appetitez catered our wedding reception for us and their service was amazing from start to finish. After my initial email, he got back to me pretty quickly, provided a great list of entrees and sides we could choose from, and offered more than fair prices. He was very friendly and communicative the entire time, and even took the time to show us around his kitchen when we met him the first time. He also made accommodations because the park didn't allow charcoal bbqs. As for the food, we chose the garlic / rosemary tri-tip and the black pepper chicken legs+thighs, and steamed veggies and potatoes for the side. He also originally offered a vegetarian dish, but we ended up cancelling that because our vegetarian guest cancelled. All of the food was fantastic, but the chicken was by far my favorite. On a side note, Mr. Hardy didn't have any issues with the fact that it was a same-sex wedding and still made us feel like we'd just made a new friend. The experience with Hardy Appetitez was excellent and made our special day even more special. I'd definitely go with Hardy Appetitez again in a heart beat.

UHHHHHHMAYZING FOOD! I just experienced the majesty that is Hardy Appetitez a week ago at modesto farmers market. Their food is beyond delicious, legit bbq. Some places pass off pot roast as a "Tri tip sandwich" not these guys. My second week in a row I've ordered the Tri tip valley melt, first with only meat and cheese, the second time adding grilled onions and pepper. Both spectacular. My only complaint would be that they do catering and I'd prefer a restaurant I could frequent multiple times per week. I'll settle for a once a week dose via the farmers market. Hardy Appetitez catered an event for my work this week. The food was great, they showed up hours early to ensure they were ready, and the guys were easygoing and friendly. They made soup and sandwiches- perfect for a cold day and guests enjoyed their interactions with their team. They are very flexible on menu options and adaptable even faced with odd venues. Try them for your next event!

Finally got to try them this morning with the hubby. Ordered the breakfast burrito with tri tip and a second one with bacon. Loved the witty banter between the guys as they were cooking up their tasty food. Accidentally made me a chicken burrito by accident but quickly whipped up the bacon one for me and were generous to let us keep the mistake which my daughter loved as well. The roasted veggies inside were so yummy and loved the grilled tortilla with the extra cheese skirt he made to fix "the breech" in the tri tip burrito. Look forward to many more in our future; thank you guys!!!

Bad business!! They will cancel on your event at the very last minute with no good excuse!!

By far the best nachos I've ever had!!!! The gentlemen who made my food yesterday were awesome! I was lucky enough to stumble upon The Hardy Appetitez at the farmers market a couple years back. Ever since, i cant get enough. Every time I order the food comes out amazing. So when I saw they were going to be at the brewery next to my house i had to go get some yummy food!

These guys catered my nephew's wedding, and the food was awesome. Great sliders for appetizers, and tender grilled tri-tip and chicken for the main. The sides were great, also. I asked for business cards afterwards, so I could use them at my next event.
