I went to this place many months ago and had a great experience! They were affordable and they eggs I got were great quality, better than the grocery store.Due to the pandemic I think they are closed right now but I wish for a quick reopening because I can't wait to pick up some more of their wonderful eggs!!

Update: They are listed here as an animal factory that confines their animals. http://californiafactoryfarms.com/wst_page4.html. They are not organic, as stated by one of their employees in response to another review here on yelp, and I will not be buying from them again. Such a let down!I have been a customer of Haney's for long over a year, and I really love buying my eggs at the farmer's market. I love being able to return the egg cartons, and their eggs are alright. The large brown eggs are $4.50 a dozen, so they aren't super cheap, and I want to know that I'm actually getting good eggs from well treated hens. Also, they are not organic! Just so everyone knows. I'm really bummed about that....My reason for less stars is the same as everyone else, I really really want to know more about their business; what do they feed the chickens? How are the chickens treated, what are their living conditions like? I found this one article/review: http://bemoneysmartfarmersmarket.wordpress.com/2011/04/20/why-did-the-chicken-cross-the-road-meet-haneys-eggs-chicken-ranch/ and I was blown away by how many chickens they have! I also didn't realize how many places they sell all over Sacramento, so it does make sense. I did a little math with the figures listed in the article. A source I found says each full sized hen should have at least 4 square feet to herself. Haney's apparently has 6 acres, and there's 43,560 sq ft in an acre, so Haney's has 261,360 sq ft. Divide that by four and you end up with the assumed number of hens Haney's can accommodate with that amount of land-- 65,340 hens; a huge number that Haney's stated 29,000 hens is no where near. Keep in mind, that one article was written by a 15 year old high school student back in 2011, so who knows how accurate or factual that report actually is. So, if they actually are pasture raised, those hens should be well cared for, but without proof, who can say they aren't actually an egg factory? It makes me really leery that Haney's seems so reluctant to divulge any info or photos, and I honestly don't think I will be buying from them again until I get that info.

wow.i love being the first to review..its almost like striking gold without the riches...lolwell,once you buy eggs here you will be stuck for life....you will never be able to walk into a supermarket and leave satisfied with a purchase of the those eggs ...at haney's you get a box of ex-lrg eggs for about $12 and one ex-lrg egg at haney's is twice the size of a supermarket egg...not to mention you get about 100 eggs in a box...the service is fast..the only reason i held back from the fifth star was because they only take cash...no atm/credit..and parking is kinda tight ..but otherwise you are usually in and out in seconds...

I've been going for years to Henry's Egg Ranch and have been really pleased till the coronavirus outbreak. I recently went and found the price of a case of eggs went from $18 to $48 how is this possible?? During this epidemic I find them to be gouging there very loyal customers that have been giving them business for years. I drive all the way from Riverbank to buy from them, and I find it very shocking to know that they didn't hold their ethical obligation and duty to be honest to their fellow community, and customers.

I bought a box of eggs for the family. The cost was better than buying at the store. 15 dozen and we split between families , I wouldn't need that many eggs. You also have the option of buying a flat only.

I purchased some of Haney's eggs at the Tracy farmer's market today, but I haven't had a chance to try them. I'm basing my review on the fact that I can't find a website or photos or anything else to show that Haney's Egg Ranch is what it says it is. They state that they sell organic, free-range, chicken eggs. I'd like to know for sure that this is what I've purchased. For a farm that sells all over the Central Valley they should at least have a website or FB page. I'll change my rating when I'm sure I'm buying organic, free-range, chicken eggs.
