Steve has worked on our boat for several years. He is a perfectionist and everything he does is beyond perfect. We recently started storing our boat with Hallerman Marine and are so happy to have it out of our garage and in a safe place. Steve's customer service is incredible, he communicates well, his prices are very fair and my boat always looks perfect. I couldn't recommend Steve at Hallerman Marine enough!

I met Steve at a boat show and told him about my '95 Seaswirl 180 SE I was restoring that needed some serious love. He offered to have a look at it and helped hook me up with his upholstery guy James to get the interior cleaned up. After showing them the boat I was certain they would both charge me a fortune to do the work it needed, but I was entirely wrong. James gave me an amazing price on the upholstery and carpet work and Steve gave me an unbelievable deal on the body detailing. Both guys did phenomenal work and removed decades of neglect and sun damage. My boat is white and the hull was so stained brown that I couldn't clean it off with bleach and a brillo pad. Steve acid washed it and polished the gel coat out so well that it actually changed the color of the boat from beige to white. James knocked out custom upholstery and laid all new carpet to make the interior look brand new.The work was so good that when I took it to my mechanic to get some motor work done he thought I bought a different boat.If you are looking for a small shop owned and operated by local guys who have been in the business for decades, I'd recommend giving them a call. Depending on the time of year, you may have to give them a few weeks to get the work done (just the nature of small shops), but the work will be done right and your boat will look amazing.James (upholstery guy) 925-565-8978Steve (Boat detailing) 916-410-1377

Very Poor service. Made a promise to have my boat completed in 3 days. I waited 10 days. At the end of ten days the boat was not even half completed. Would not return a phone call for over three days. He has moved to Hallerman Marine6119 27th St #A, Sacramento 95822.I would stay far away from his service.

We have had Steve Hallerman, proprietor of Hallerman Marine, detail our Boston Whaler for several years, including most recently in November of 2014. His business has moved from West Sacramento to near the old Campbell's Soup factory in south Sacramento (6119 27th, Suite A). His telephone number is 916/410-1377.Steve has always provided us with excellent customer service. Most recently, our tow vehicle was out of commission. Hallerman Marine helped us pull our boat out of the water, detailed it (including acid washing the bottom and waxing the gel coat), and then delivered it to our winter storage facility. All with an amazing, cheerful, can do spirit. In addition, our aging boat cover was fraying and need of repair. Steve helped us get it repaired by a colleague who does marine upholstery. In fact, Steve has a great network of craftspeople to help with those aspects of repairs and maintenance that he doesn't do. This helps make Hallerman Marine a one-stop shop for end of season (or beginning of season) vessel maintenance. If you need help in keeping your boat looking sharp, we encourage you to consider Hallerman Marine as a resource.
