The way the staff have relayed, resolved, and communicated with us is unprofessional, dismissive, and unsympathetic. Our family spent months preparing our family reunion and reserved the building well in advance. We contacted the office and they assured us that the kitchen and facilities we rented were sanitary and ready for usage. Then a couple weeks ago, they told us that the stoves and oven didn't work so we wouldn't be able to cook anything from scratch. We thought, "No biggie, we can prep things in advance and bring it over to kitchen". However, when we arrived today to set up for the event tomorrow, we saw that the facilities were in disrepair, unsanitary, and in serious need of maintenance. The entire kitchen is absolutely filthy. It looks like no one has bothered to clean anything in a long time. The kitchenware dates backs to the 1960s and was never updated in the time the facility was open. The refrigerator is too warm to keep anything cool, the deep freezer is barely cold enough to keep anything frozen. There is a bag of ice in there as a substitute. There is clearly an infestation of mice due to presence of rat traps in the kitchen. When we made our alarm known to one of the staff, she attempted to gaslight us by claiming that we were told in advance about the state of the kitchen. That isn't possible because they have been struggling with their land lines and internet for the couple of weeks. She also told us about clauses in the contract that were never present before we signed and tried to make us pay money for insurance to fix the kitchen. We had already paid over $300 to use this facility and we were never told about an insurance fee. She tried to claim that it was in the contract and spoke to us in a very condescending tone. It is their job to make the facility presentable and safe to use before usage. It shouldn't be the job of the customer to pay for their mishaps. This is a bad reflection on the attentiveness and honesty of the staff at the facility. There are so many health code and fire code violations in this building alone. It shouldn't be open to the public in such a sorry state. I would honestly give this place a 0 out of 5 but that isn't possible on Google Reviews. I am disgusted by the severe negligence and unprofessionalism of the staff. This goes beyond our family reunion...this is a danger for anyone in the general public who wants to use this facility to host any gatherings. If you value your gastrointestinal system and safety, do not host any events here.

I love how involved this community is and how many different sports and events are going on at this park. My dog loves this place as we take her almost every day to the dog park. All of the pet owners and other dogs are extremely friendly. Everyone is polite and it's a great time. The park is pretty well maintained. The only bad thing I would say is that there are some pet owners that are not picking up after their animals. I've stepped in poop a couple of times in the dog park.

Absolutely love this park. It's right off Coloma near the high school, the park is HUGE. There are multiple parking lots, multiple playgrounds, a Barn with cute farm animals (Pig, Billy Goat, Ducks, and even Cupcake the Donkey). There are multiple benches all over and several gazebos and a trail that wraps around the park. Perfect for walking your dogs or biking and even better for families. So much shaded trees you can just put a blanket down and relax. We have 4 children and this is our favorite place to go to by far.

4.0 TLDR: decent park, nice people, very close to the American river bike trail. No homeless. Come here if close by :)Been coming here for 2 years now. No complaints about it. Nice park that is very well maintained. The grounds keeper facility is on site so that could be why. For dogs, it has three sections: 2 large dog sections and 1 smol dog section (yes, "smol") All sections have a decent amount of grass and mud but nothing too much that it would harbor diseases I guess. (We dont go to bannister dog park for this reason) The playground is minimal, but it looks like it suffices for families who go there. The big plus is the proximity to the American river trail. Very easy access; especially for walking, running, or biking. Also, no homeless around so that's a plus. Overall, a very good park

Absolute beautiful park in Rancho Cordova. We attended a baby shower yesterday and really enjoyed our time there. The pavilion is tucked at the very back of the park with plenty of parking for large parties. There were probably about 150 people at our event and it was an extremely comfortable space to accommodate such size group. I'm not sure what our friends paid to rent out the space but it included parking for all their guests.I saw plenty of other birthday parties nearby so I'm assuming it's a local favorites to throw family events. Restrooms are mostly the portable type spread out all over the park. Plenty of shaded trails and very well kept community park.Would definitely recommend bringing your family or kids for a stroll.

Wait.. How did I not know about this park before? It's pretty huge!LOCATION:I'm rancho Cordova next to an elementary school. Plenty of parking around. Some is free and some is paid.DECOR:The grass was green, there's plenty of shade and large open areas for outdoor games like catch or fetch. PRICE:Free community parkEXPERIENCE:I went here for some Androids with a friend and had a great time. Plenty of room. Didn't feel like I was on top of anyone else at all. Not a high traffic area so it stays pretty quiet to surrounding noise.

If you need a a spot to get in the river this park is the place to come. It's not perfect though. My friend has got a nail in her tire on two separate trips. We've been there when it was super busy and no one. Be careful when you're trying to find your river spot. The bicyclist can be super rude to pedestrians. Doesn't matter if you have small children with you.OH please stop arguing with the employees taking an entrance fee. Your embarrassing yourself and they're just doing their job.

Dog crap everywhere. By everywhere, I mean I was hopscotching, two-stepping, juking, jumping, electric sliding all over the place just to avoid them dookie bombs. Side walk, grass, even on one of the park benches, it had dookie all over.

Review is for fireworks show only.Absolutely ZERO directions or guidance by the city for where to park or how to enter the park. Came from Sacramento unsure of where to go only to end up in absolute gridlock in a neighborhood. The neighborhood should be pre-blocked off to the general public. Do a better job of managing traffic!!!!!!! This event is poorly run, staffed and policed. They can't handle the amount of people who are coming here. There were no bag checks of any kind, just hoards of confused people trying to get in, trying to pay, trying to figure out where to go. Literally anyone could have brought a weapon in here and gotten away with it. Also once inside lines for food / drink / carnival were massive! Again no direction as to where to go to actually sit and watch the fireworks. Just hoards of people everywhere. Its inexplicable to me why the city of Sacramento doesn't have its own show anymore. Its the reason our family came here. Angry doesn't begin to express how I feel stuck in this mess.
