Amazing customer service. When you buy from Guys you gain a great team of professionals who are always willing to teach you and help you. I was green at all this chainsaw stuff when I moved to upcountry, bought my first saw at Guys, and they have been pleasant to deal with on every interaction. Taught me how to maintain my equipment and were always nothing but courteous. We need more businesses in Pioneer with this level of customer service!

Today I picked up my mower they repaired. I needed a pressure washer so Terry helped me. He was patient, helpful, a good listener, extremely knowledgeable, and took the time to demonstrate every workable piece on the washer. He also advised me on maintenance and other useful tips. There is a reason I drive 80 miles round trip from Clements to buy all my equipment from Guy's. This place is first-rate.

So I'll start with the good part.....Nice place with a lot of good products/equipment. The staff seemed knowledgeable about the products they had.The not so good......they're not very friendly and make you feel like you are somehow taking up their time. I bought $600 worth of saw and accy...I hope I wasn't bothering them too much. Talked to several other locals and they had the same opinion. So if you need a good saw etc, it's worth checking out. Just don't expect them to care if you give them any business or not. My 2cents....

Great Service, Honest pricing, knowledgeable staff!!We started doing business with Guy about 11 Years ago. The knowledge of the staff and honest opinions due to their knowledge is priceless. The help they gave to get us a generator, advice on who in the area installed was priceless during the Butte Fire. We've purchased equipment on the internet and was sorry we were drawn in by the cheap price after it quit working... and mailing it back and forth for warranty work quickly made it twice as expensive. Fooled once not again. Thank you Guys Saw Center for our newest saw cuts like butter just as you promised!

Always top notch. These folks will get you the better than big box equipment at a fair price. And then stand behind it! All my riding mowers and saw purchases come from Guy because he stands behind his stuff. Had a minor problem, and Guy was all over it, and kept my downtime in peak period to a minimum. Do yourself a favor - don't go to the chains stores, shop local and generations back.

Guy's saw has great knowledgeable staff. We have been utilizing their service for last few years. They are able to help get us back and running when we break any power equipment. They are always very busy but in a pinch they will put us in the front of the list to fix saws, splitters etc. when we really need them back fast.

This is a great place for all your outdoor equipment I have been doing business with them for years never a problem they have many parts in stock and always friendly advice if you need itAnd for the person who complained about a price and got a better deal on line from a out of state site well good for you hope it lasts a long time and doesn't break down I prefer to buy local and support our community even if it costs a couple bucks more it's worth it to have a shop to get what you need and they have overhead costs that the on line places don't they support many employees and they are hard working people

Unless you're an expert in what you're shopping for, advice from someone who is is invaluable. That's why I went to Guys instead of going to Lowes or buying online. I needed a chainsaw (mine was stolen) and hard hat. I looked online to get an idea of what I was looking for and an idea of prices. Though I've been an occasional user of chainsaw for over 20 years what I learned from Guy was extremely practical and will add to the life of my chainsaw. As for pricing, I spent $3 more on the hardhat than if I ordered online (more if I got a different brand) but the chainsaw I ended up buying after getting Guys advice was $30 less than the one I was planning on getting. So the way I look at it, I saved money by going to Guys. But even if you do spend a bit more, the expert help associated with buying here is priceless.

I have been buying saws and falling gear from Guys for a decade. The service and selection have kept me and my friends coming back. I bought a large piece of log splitting gear there today, and received the same one thing excellent service from the new and knowledgeable owners that were trained employees of the original retired owners. They have kept my loyalty.

I rarely write reviews, but, I received above and beyond assistance from Guy's when I was trying to get my weed whacker to start this spring. I admit, despite being told to NEVER LEAVE GAS IN MY EQUIPMENT over the winter, I screwed up. I couldn't wait for Guy's team to fix it as I had to cut the weeds - fire season and all - so I needed to do all repairs myself. Being an engineer, I opted to try the cheapest fixes first and work my way on up to the more expensive options. Guy personally assisted me about 5 times in my repair endeavors. I don't want to say all the special assistance he gave, but, it included copying the engine repair manual. Way Above and Beyond good service. I eventually got all the problems fixed (carburetor and ignition coil) and my engine is running fantastic. I have purchased a number of items from Guy and his team over the past 10 years. All his staff were knowledgeable about the products and how to start, use, and maintain them. They only carry quality equipment. These purchases include a weed whacker, string mower and Honda generator along with chainsaw supplies. I prefer to buy local so that I have local businesses here when I need them. You don't always get everything you might get in a big city, but, you get a local staff who cares about you. Is Guy's the cheapest - probably not - especially when compared with internet deals from around the country. Could they occasionally forget to call back - probably - I saw the backlog of repairs they had and witnessed a very busy season. They are knowledgeable about the parts - e.g. the ignition coil that has the clear epoxy doesn't last as well as the ones with red epoxy. I've always received excellent advice, quick diagnosis of problems and personal attention to my equipment, and honest feedback on why the device may not be performing well. I can't recommend them highly enough.Peter
