They were always a fresh batch of kittens outsides. The tenants don't help by feeding them and bringing in more stray cats.

Hundreds for painting , carpet cleaning and "resurfacing" their paint countertops. The only thing responsible for was the carpet cleaning

I'm leaving here in the apartment. I'm not to happy it's not a very great quality the washer don't work good they just call to fix and they work just for some weeks and they don't work again. They don't want to put new ones. they only have 3 washers and dryers. We just waiting for our contract to finish and we out in 4 months. it's a calm place but the only problem is the washers.

You could be the perfect tenants, and the office and their company will not care. We did our best to communicate with the front office when we had an issue or a situation came up, but very rarely did something come out of it. I will give credit that, for the most part, the ladies at the front office were nice (except during this last part where we tried to argue about our move-out costs).In our 5 years living there, we had to deal with: problematic neighbors/guests, our vehicles being egged by surrounding neighbors (outside of apartment complex), fallen trees laying there for months, having only 1 washer/dryer for the entire apartment complex, water leaking through our windows, work orders being delayed or not even addressed by Maintenance, the hassle of always having to pay everything with a money order or check, the office being closed even during their posted work hours, people breaking into cars parked within the complex, constantly changing security firms and not being notified, office communicating via a physical letter on your door instead of phone call or email, and cockroaches everywhere. Moving out was more trouble than it's worth. We wound up paying over $4000 to cancel our contract, which included paying the current month and following month's rent, and whatever alleged "damages" the office saw. The fact that we lived there for 5 years did not mean anything in regards to "normal wear and tear". Not only did they keep our $1000 deposit, but they also charged us an additional $870 to completely replace carpet, floor, and countertops, and to perform "heavy cleaning". It's ridiculous.Do yourself a favor and find someplace else to live. This place should be your absolute last resort, and only if you're willing to put up with a lot of frustration and feeling of insecurity.

Probably one of the most unprofessional staff I have ever seen and I've worked at KFC. The staff at kfc were better serviced and actually showed up and didn't leave 30 minutes before. This is annoying because the machine to load your laundry is in their office. Sometimes they are inside and they don't even want to open the office for residents from 8-5pm when they are supposed to open to help. Wanda Malik the assistant manager has a very poor quality in attitude and willingness to serve and help. If they need to communicate with you they will put a notice on your door even though they can contact your phone number. Wanda Malik' will hang up on your call if it is any inconvenience to her. We have had maintenance say they will come and never show up. Our wiring in our apartment looks like a maze and they had 4 hots in our bathroom which we didn't find out until we outsourced an electrician. That was the only way they made our work order. They paint over the entire apartments without replacing boards, cabinets, flooring, and more. Then when you move out they charge you for all those fee because due to their poor quality in painting services, the closets, cabinets, and almost everything else peels due to the excessive amount of paint layers they add on each time a new resident moves in. The laziest type of service. There's also dead cats everywhere because they won't address the issue. We have constant homeless in our trash and parking lots with cameras that do not work. We have algae I the pool right now because they didn't do their due diligence as management to check in with the city prior to summer. The pool did not look as bad as algae until management (Darlene) allowed it to get there, simple fix if you address an issue with time you won't get algae. This falls on management and not being able to prioritize tasks. Mind you we've been here for 3 years, and several people moved out this summer due to the lack of professionalism, cleanliness, hospitality, and just respect. The staff here is not respectful at all.

An absolutely horrible place to live. My fiancé and I lived here for a year and by month 6 we were READY TO LEAVE. We made several maintenance requests that were never addressed. When we moved in there was MOLD in our washer/dryer. We paid $1,080 a month to live here. I wasn't going to leave a review because I don't like to do this kind of thing but I got a letter saying that we owed MORE money (in addition to our $1,000 deposit). Don't be fooled, no matter how much you clean, they WILL charge you to re-paint the whole apartment and "sanitize" it. I've attached pictures of what the apartment looked like when we moved in. Mary-Alice was very kind in the front office, but everyone else is rude and you can tell that they don't care about you. All they care about is making money.

We lived there for more than 2 years. We always pay on time, but there were no considerations. We were to move to a house by June 6th, but our contract will renew on May 11, we asked them if we can extend 1 month and not renew to avoid the breech of contract penalty but they didn't accept. We are new in the US, so we have no idea that we have to contract the MID and insurance prior to moving, they did not inform us. So months after we move we still get bills from them. They send us cleaning bills to our apartment and ended up not receiving our deposit, even paid extra $400 for pest control and deep cleaning of the apartment. So aside from not receiving back our deposit, we paid the penalty for breech of contract and extra charges, wasted $4000 in total. It's all about money. Better to find another apartment. Also if you transfer from a 1 bedroom apartment to a 2 bedroom, you will undergo the verification process again, and pay $49 per person.Also the gate is always open, lose 3 pairs of shoes. Left it outside our front door for a few hours. Anyone can get inside. Felt unsafe every time I hear the gate open and close in the middle of the night.

Unprofessional management. Lived there 12 years ago it was ok needed a 1 bedroom instead of the 2 I was living in my rent was to high for one person. So i contact the to see about renting there applied and everything they call me and say we see why there address appears on my credit report from 12 years ago I said I lived there was never late they wanted to check my file fine I call back and they will not call me back this is 5 days later they still will not call back even after I called numerous times totally unprofessional

I have lived in apartments for 9 years and never have I had such an unpleasant experience. Several cats and roaches beyond belief. They do nothing to resolve the issue. Don't expect your deposit back no matter how much you clean you won't see it (I've always had my deposit returned). The gym on the 2200 has two machines and I never received a key to it. The laundry room washer was broken the first year. The rent payment setup is really inconvenient you can't pay earlier than the 1st, they finally receive checks now but won't give refund on any laundry money left on your keycard upon leaving. They won't contact you to return your deposit either. It's a very unprofessional and poorly service apartment. Overpriced for what you get. Don't move here.

A terrible place to live you're always being harassed Whether it's by maintenance people or the office.Whether you clean your apartment or not before leaving you will be charged A ridiculous amount. According to their office hours they're open on Saturdays but yet they are never there and do not answer the phone. Half the time the washers were broken in the laundry room what are you couldn't get to the card machine in the office because they are closed and they are only open during work hours Monday through Friday 8 AM to5 pm which is a normal persons workday. There was homeless people constantly walking the property at night causing problems and harassing tenants, as well as shootings one block over almost every night on Ensenada. I had enter A pumpkin carving competition they announce the winners a month late after me asking several times about it and I never received my winnings. They try to say that they have rules after you win.But the rules are no receded stated nor told to you that if you move out you will have to pay that money back or you will not receive it if you plan on moving out. The rules are not stated anywhere they make them up as they go. When I tried to call the headquarters Darlean saw me get the number and called a lady named Cheryl and told her not to take my call and to redirect me to Darlean because she did not want me talking to Cheryl at corporate. So happy to no longer deal with them . There's a really good reason why they only have one and a half stars on here .Hope all reviews help
