Coming here has been an annual tradition for my family and I. It started with my mom who has been attending this festival for almost 40 years. It's always the weekend after Labor Day. Every year their admission cost goes up. I remember when it was $2/person. This year it was $5. I appreciate that they always reserve extra parking spots w.cones for the folks who are handicapped. The food is obviously festival priced. I do wish they'd introduce new Greek items because it's the same food every year. Our go-to items include: iced Greek coffee, gyros, tons of pastries inside the hall, & loukoumades (Greek donut balls w/honey and Walnuts). I waa craving a baklava sundae. Its vanilla ice cream with a crushed baklava piece, topped with whipped cream and crushed Walnuts. Unfortunately that's the last time I'll be getting it because I almost broke my tooth by biting into a Walnut shell that was in the nut topping!!! The live Greek music is great and made me feel like we were back in Athens, having dinner in Plaka at a sidewalk taverna.

Best Greek festival in the valley! The variety of Greek food is awesome. So many choices. Be sure to bring friends because the best way to try everything is to share it! Join in on the dancing. It's a great way to work off the extra calories you will be consuming!! If you have never been in the church, do take the church tour. The beautiful Byzantine mosaic icons in the church are a wonderful sight to see. You can also learn something about the Orthodox faith.

The St. Basil's Greek Festival is always held the 2nd weekend of September. It is 3 days of amazing food, delicious pastries, fun music and dancing and lots and lots of ouzo. Lol. You couldn't ask for a better time. I've been attending for more than 20 years and always have so much fun! My food favorites are the pork souvlaki, spanakopita (phyllo dough layered with spinach and feta), kourabiedes (butter cookies dusted with powdered sugar) and the loukoumades (yeast donuts drizzled with honey and sprinkled with walnuts-divine!). It can get super crowded but everyone is having so much fun, who cares? And the volunteers that work it are so friendly and polite. It feels as though you're at a Big Fat Greek family reunion. Hands down this is the best festival Stockton has to offer. I highly recommend going!

The yearly festival they have here isn't that bad. There is a $2 cover charge to get in but it's worth it to try out the food they have inside. I love eating the gyros and I can't pass on the baklava. They have other foods too but I don't know the name of it. I like drinking the mythos beer and omega wine.If you want to stock up on some of their desserts make sure you go early. If you try to show up after 1 or 2pm you may be limited to a smaller selection to choose from. Parking is pretty small there, but it's not like you can't use the places adjacent to them to park. This festival is worth visiting to get your grub on.

The food here is amazing. We got a bunch of different items and sampled some of each. I think the best time to go is early before the crowds beat you to the gyro line. The gyros were really good. The chicken kabob was really good too. I loved the little fried honey fritters. Its only $2 to get in. The food is all pretty reasonably priced too.

It's all Greek to me. The food is why I go and It's overall very good. I usually go early to avoid the lines and people who are under the anfluence of ichohal. (pun intended)It is a fund raiser so the prices are a little high and the service can be slow as friends talk and gab. But spend the money try different things and enjoy. The deep fried calamari is not to be missed. Go to one of the Greek restaurant's the weeks before and you can find free passes to the festival.
